Staying at Kensington Hotel Yeouido was a perfect choice for my trip to Seoul, especially since I was attending a concert at Gocheok Dome. The nearby Hyundai Department Store, along with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. Best of all, the hotel overlooks the Han River—waking up to that view and taking a morning jog in the adjacent park was one of the highlights. Though some facilities feel a bit dated, the overall experience was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and offered complimentary luggage storage, which came in handy. I heard there’s also a food alley behind the hotel, but we were too exhausted to explore it. Across the street is an OY store, perfect for grabbing essentials. Airport buses drop you off right at the door, and returning to the airport is just as smooth—just walk straight from McDonald’s to the bus stop across the street. Front desk staff speak English, and one gentleman even speaks Chinese, so communication was never an issue. They don’t provide toothpaste or toothbrushes, but those are available at the lobby shop. The bath amenities? Absolutely top-notch. My hair felt soft and silky after washing—probably thanks to the local water quality, though I didn’t get the brand name. Overall, this place hits all the right notes: comfort, convenience, great location, and excellent value. Highly recommend!
