The hotel overlooks the lake, and Moonlight Pier is just across the bridge—super convenient for walking or taking the metro. This time, we brought my elderly parent who had just recovered from a fracture; mobility was limited, and even eating and moving around were challenging. From check-in onward, the staff went above and beyond. When we requested two rooms, they kindly arranged adjacent ones for easier supervision. Throughout breakfast and dinner buffet service, the team showed exceptional care. During dinner, a young, friendly server noticed our situation and proactively brought a cushion so my parent could elevate their injured arm—something that actually helped with swelling. He even explained the medical reasoning behind it! That level of thoughtfulness and knowledge stood out. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and professional. We’ve already taken photos of several team members’ name tags—we’d love to see them recognized by the hotel. Definitely coming back again!

I’ve dined at Xinchu a few times before, but this was my first time staying at Niccolo Suzhou—completely different experience! I booked the lake-view N3 room through Karina for my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. Facing the Oriental Gate, the night views are stunning—glittering lights reflecting on the water, like something out of a movie. Karina went above and beyond with her service—she even surprised me with a birthday cake 🎂, which made the whole stay feel special. The breakfast extending until 11 AM is such a thoughtful touch, especially on weekends when you can just enjoy it as a relaxed brunch and skip lunch. The only minor downside? The room ran surprisingly hot—even at 16°C, it felt stuffy, and by afternoon it seemed close to 30°C, so maybe a slight AC adjustment would help. Also, the pool is on the smaller side. But overall, the exceptional service, incredible location, and beautiful views more than make up for it. A fantastic stay with great value!

The Chinese restaurant on-site has a beautiful ambiance and serves delicious, well-prepared dishes—definitely worth a visit. Breakfast was a highlight too: abundant choices, fresh ingredients, and excellent quality across both Western and local options. Everything about this hotel screams quality and care. Staying at W Suzhou was a fantastic experience. Located right next to Jinji Lake, the hotel offers a serene and stylish atmosphere with easy access to the Suzhou Center Mall via a direct third-floor connection—perfect for dining and shopping without stepping outside. Despite having been around for a while, the property feels fresh and well-maintained, with clean rooms and modern amenities throughout. Upon check-in, the front desk staff kindly asked about room preferences, which led to a complimentary upgrade to a room with a better view—offering lovely glimpses of the lake, especially stunning in the evening. The lobby team was warm and attentive, making the arrival smooth and welcoming. One small note: there was a coffee spill at the café area that wasn’t cleaned up immediately, but it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. All in all, this is a great choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury in Suzhou.
