Staff member Xiao Zhao was incredibly friendly and patient, going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, with plenty of options that even my picky child enjoyed. The only minor issue was the strong fragrance in the lobby—very overpowering, almost overwhelming—but honestly, it’s just a tiny flaw. No unpleasant odors at all, just a fresh, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety of options, both Western and local favorites, all freshly prepared and delicious. I especially appreciated the friendly service from front desk staff, Xiao Hu—she went above and beyond with her warm, genuine attitude, offering helpful tips as if she were recommending places to a close friend. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Chunxi Road shopping district and a quick ride to Tianfu Square via metro. The ground floor lounge area is perfect for relaxing while waiting for transportation—comfortable seating, quiet, and well-designed. The hotel feels modern and well-maintained throughout. Overall, it’s a top-tier choice for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and thoughtful hospitality. Definitely planning to come back!

Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Wuhou

We arrived late last night and realized we'd ended up at the wrong location—we'd originally booked the Holiday Inn Express in San Sheng Xiang, but Google Maps led us straight to this one in Wuhou District. Thankfully, contacting the platform right away resulted in a no-questions-asked free cancellation. That was a huge relief. Then I must say, the Wuhou branch itself is excellent—clean, well-maintained, and staff are genuinely welcoming. Special shoutout to Amy during check-out; she was warm, efficient, and made our departure smooth. And bonus: the street-side dan dan noodles just outside the hotel? Absolutely delicious—spicy, savory, and totally worth a stop. If you're in the area, don’t miss it. This place is a hidden gem with great value and top-notch service.

The room was spacious for the price, offering great comfort and a clean, modern feel. What stood out most was the attention to detail from the housekeeping staff—they seemed genuinely observant, even noticing little habits like my preference for turning on the light with my left hand. Breakfast was fantastic: diverse options with a standout local-style noodle stall where the chef’s made-to-order noodles were delicious and she remembered my usual order—asking with a smile, "Spicy today?" The dining area was kept immaculate, especially thanks to a hardworking male staff member who never stopped helping guests while maintaining a warm attitude. I also appreciated the self-service laundry facilities—efficient and well-maintained, perfect for quick turnaround during a busy trip. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, hospitality, and convenience. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to stay here again.

He remembered our preferences and checked in on us throughout the stay, which felt incredibly personal. The lobby lounge is elegant and relaxing, perfect for unwinding with a drink or just enjoying the ambiance. The beds were heavenly—luxuriously comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. We celebrated New Year’s Eve here, and the whole atmosphere was magical. The hotel’s location is great, easily accessible by metro, and the overall luxury combined with such genuine hospitality makes this a top-tier choice. I’d return in a heartbeat.

The lobby is beautifully designed with a serene, traditional Chinese aesthetic—especially the restaurant area with its little bridge and flowing water feature. It truly captures the tranquil vibe of Jiangnan. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with clean linens and thoughtful touches throughout. Right outside the door is the metro station, making travel around Chengdu incredibly convenient. The swimming pool is kept immaculate—crystal clear water and always well-sanitized. I’d definitely stay here again on my next business trip. Excellent location, great service, and fantastic value. Highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and work travelers.

Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel

This was my first stay at Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of the city for the better. I was especially impressed by the cinema-themed room — the design is unique and stylish, exactly my kind of vibe. After checking several options, I chose this hotel mainly because of its unbeatable location: the metro entrance is right at the building’s doorstep, making it super easy to reach places like People's Park and the local museum. Breakfast was outstanding — abundant, fresh, and included handmade wontons and authentic bean curd pudding. The bathroom was well-maintained with perfect water temperature and strong shower pressure. But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! Plus, the room had zero unpleasant odors upon entry — just clean, fresh air. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value and attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu.

Public transport access is seamless, and getting around the city couldn’t be easier. Parking was convenient, and even better—our food delivery was brought straight to our room without any hassle. The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu was an overall delightful experience. While the morning breakfast area felt slightly chilly with inadequate warm airflow from the air conditioning, and the bed could’ve used a bit more plushness—though it was still very comfortable—I didn’t feel any urge to switch rooms or check out. The overhead showerhead seemed to need descaling, but again, it didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast offerings were solid, though the pastries leaned on the sweeter side, and the freshly squeezed juice wasn’t prepared in front of guests—leading me to wonder if it was truly fresh or pre-made (it did show slight separation). I also missed seeing small wontons on the menu, but these minor points don’t overshadow the bigger picture. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail are top-notch. This is definitely a hotel worth considering for future visits—no regrets, just a strong desire to come back.
