The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou

My recent trip to Guangzhou in November led me to stay at The Ritz-Carlton, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Located right in the heart of the city, this hotel offers an exceptional experience from the moment you arrive. Staying on the executive floor meant access to five daily light meals—perfect for a quick bite between sightseeing or business meetings. The highlight? Evening at the Executive Lounge: enjoying a delicious dinner while gazing out at the dazzling night view of Canton Tower. It’s absolutely magical. The holiday spirit is already in full swing—the lobby Christmas tree glows beautifully after dark, adding such warmth and charm to the atmosphere. And that little lion mascot? Instant photo ops and pure joy. A special thanks to Manager Mu Yan at the Executive Lounge—he was incredibly attentive, courteous, and made every guest feel truly valued. This level of hospitality is rare. I’m already planning my next visit to Guangzhou just to come back here.

Ascott IFC Guangzhou

Location is unbeatable: just steps away from major shopping areas and public transit, making it easy to explore the city. The swimming pool is functional at 21 meters, though a 25-meter length would be ideal for serious swimmers. The gym is compact but well-equipped with everything you’d need for a solid workout. And the views? Absolutely spectacular—especially from the higher floors, where you can take in panoramic cityscapes. Honestly, there’s very little to complain about. This place has it all: comfort, convenience, and quality. I’ll definitely be returning next time and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou.

The afternoon tea and late-night snacks were delicious, the room was immaculately clean, and the amenities were top-tier—L'Occitane toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer made the experience feel luxurious. Every detail felt cared for. I left feeling genuinely satisfied and already planning my next visit.
