Location-wise, it’s extremely convenient: just a short walk to Civic Center and the Museum, making sightseeing easy and stress-free. Across the street is the Civic Park, where I enjoyed morning strolls and even spotted elegant white egrets flying by—such a peaceful touch. The housekeeping team was attentive, friendly, and always proactive in offering help. After finishing a marathon, I was greeted with a refreshing supply of Powerade, a Snickers bar, and an iced coffee—such a thoughtful gesture that really made my recovery easier. From check-in to checkout, I felt like a valued guest. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed. The nightly turndown service added a lovely personal touch, making the stay even more special. Lunch at the highly acclaimed Dongwan Restaurant was a highlight. Despite the premium reputation, the pricing felt fair, and the food quality was outstanding—especially the glass-roasted pigeon, which was crispy-skinned and incredibly flavorful. A must-try! For dinner, I visited MO Bar, ranked among Asia’s 50 Best Bars. While walk-ins are welcome (private booths require booking), I arrived on a Sunday evening and only waited about 20 minutes—lucky timing! For those wanting to avoid queues, arriving after 11 PM seems to be a smarter move. Breakfast at Sān Cān Bazaar on the lobby level offered decent variety, though it could have been more refined given the hotel’s luxury standard. It wasn’t bad—just not quite up to the exceptional level I expected. Finally, the spa experience was relaxing and well-executed, offering a peaceful retreat after a busy day. Overall, this stay delivered on all fronts: location, comfort, service, dining, and ambiance. With a perfect 10/10 rating, it’s clear why this hotel stands out as one of Shenzhen’s finest luxury options.
