Just a short walk away is the hotel where the Prime Minister once stayed—there’s something special about that. The Christmas market this year was absolutely stunning, with beautiful lights and charming stalls creating a magical atmosphere. I spent hours just wandering around enjoying the festive vibe. The location is super convenient for getting into town via public transit, and the staff continue to be warm, professional, and attentive. Definitely a place I’ll return to again and again.

Upon arrival, the lobby made a strong impression: high ceilings, clean lines, and a sophisticated yet welcoming design. Check-in was smooth and efficient, handled by friendly staff who were attentive without being intrusive—even with a busy lobby, they made me feel valued and welcome. My room was on a higher floor, offering panoramic views of the Manchester skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows—truly breathtaking, especially at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with crisp linens and plush pillows that made waking up a real pleasure. The room itself was well-equipped with all the essentials you’d expect from a premium property: a large flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board, mini-fridge, safe, and a spacious desk with excellent lighting—ideal for work or late-night reading. The bathroom was spotless, modern, and stocked with quality toiletries, though the shower water pressure could have been stronger. What really stood out were the facilities. The health club and spa are a major highlight—spacious pool, fully equipped gym, and relaxing sauna and steam room. I used the sauna after a long day of sightseeing and it was exactly what I needed to unwind. The Executive Lounge offered a peaceful retreat with a great selection of refreshments and light bites—perfect for unwinding or catching up on work in a calm setting. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, comfort, and service. It’s a top-tier choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for a stylish, central base in Manchester.

Just turn left out the front door and you’re at the light rail station – super convenient for getting around. Yet, it’s also just a short walk to the lively city centre, perfect for those who want to explore Manchester on foot. I’ve heard there’s another Leonardo near Piccadilly Station, so I’ll definitely check it out next time, but this central location hits the sweet spot – relaxed, well-connected, and effortlessly chill.
