The bed was incredibly comfortable—maybe we were just really tired, but we slept like logs! The electric toilet was a real game-changer: automatic heating, super convenient, and so relaxing to use. The mirror is huge—definitely big enough for two people to get ready at the same time without stepping on each other’s toes. Location-wise, it's right between Kongde Station and Mapo Station, making subway access super easy. Just pop out of one of the exits near Kongde and you're immediately in front of a famous pig trotter street—great for late-night snacks. I heard there’s also a food alley behind the hotel, but we were too exhausted to explore it. Across the street is an OY store, perfect for grabbing essentials. Front desk staff speak English, and one gentleman even speaks Chinese, so communication was never an issue. They don’t provide toothpaste or toothbrushes, but those are available at the lobby shop. The bath amenities? Absolutely top-notch. My hair felt soft and silky after washing—probably thanks to the local water quality, though I didn’t get the brand name. Overall, this place hits all the right notes: comfort, convenience, great location, and excellent value. Highly recommend!

Shilla Stay Mapo (Hongdae)

Staying at Shilla Stay Mapo (Hongdae) was an excellent experience overall. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from Hongdae Station Exit 1, with a 7-Eleven right next door and other convenience stores like CU and OY within easy reach. The room was more spacious than expected for a city hotel; we had two suitcases laid out flat on the floor, yet still felt plenty of room to move around. Daily housekeeping made the stay even more comfortable. The only minor downside was the sound insulation—some noise from neighboring rooms came through, but it didn’t disrupt our rest significantly. For the price and location, this place offers great value. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul’s vibrant Hongdae area.

Nearby, you’ll find Olive Young and E-Mart—perfect for grabbing snacks or travel essentials. One thing to note: the bathtub lacks non-slip strips, so be cautious when stepping in. Other than that, everything else is top-notch. Great location, excellent value, and a welcoming vibe—highly recommend this place if you’re looking for comfort and convenience in central Seoul.

Located right in the heart of Hongdae’s bustling district, you’re surrounded by trendy restaurants, cozy bars, unique boutiques, and endless street energy—perfect for night owls and food lovers alike. The design is sleek and modern, with a stylish lobby on the 21st floor featuring self-check-in and check-out, plus smart lockers for luggage. I especially loved the rooftop pool on the 22nd floor—open only in summer, but what a treat to enjoy it under the sun or during golden hour. The room was spacious, chic, and thoughtfully equipped, including a welcome drink and snacks—small touches that made the stay feel special. With its prime location, cool aesthetic, and excellent value, this hotel offers more than just a place to sleep. It’s an experience. Definitely coming back.

The Grand Yeouido Hotel is perfect for family stays—just the right size with plenty of space without feeling empty. The housekeeping is excellent; every time we entered the room, it felt fresh and well-maintained. The surrounding area of Yeouido is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, offering a serene escape from the city hustle while still being close to everything you need. It's a smart choice for travelers who value both comfort and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again on any future trip to Seoul—highly recommend!
