Staying at Lagoon Beach Hotel Apartments was a delightful surprise. One thing to note: they don’t provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or disposable slippers, so it’s best to bring your own essentials. Breakfast has improved this year—still not quite catering to my Chinese palate, but at least there’s more variety than last year. Overall, the location is fantastic, close to the beach and just a short ride into Cape Town city center.
