While the room interiors do feel a bit dated, the location more than makes up for it. Easy access to downtown by metro, peaceful surroundings, and that unbeatable lakeside setting really elevate the experience. It’s a great choice if you value ambiance and convenience over ultra-modern design.

Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value and makes for a memorable stay.

Yes, surge pricing can happen during peak hours, but the views of West Lake alone make it worth every minute. There are plenty of charming cafés, the famous Marou chocolate shop, and small boutiques within walking distance—ideal for a relaxed stroll after a long day. What really stands out? The service. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Having access to the lounge all day long means you can relax, read, grab a drink, or even take a nap without ever needing to leave the hotel. It’s like having your own quiet retreat in the heart of Hanoi. For comfort, convenience, and that special touch of luxury, this hotel delivers on every level. A must-stay if you’re visiting Hanoi.

Staff go above and beyond with warm, professional service—always attentive, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful when needed. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the pool area offers a peaceful retreat. Breakfast is a highlight: a diverse buffet with plenty of options, including halal choices, making it great for all guests. While the hotel is a slight stroll from Hoan Kiem Lake (about 10 minutes), it’s still very walkable and adds to the charm of discovering the neighborhood. I didn’t get a chance to use many of the hotel amenities, but what I experienced was already impressive. While it's a bit removed from the city center, the quiet location actually works in its favor—no noise disturbances at all. What truly stood out was the surprise wedding anniversary gift: a sweet treat and fresh flowers delivered to my room. For such a reasonable rate, this level of personal touch was incredibly touching. I’ll definitely return to Hanoi and choose this hotel again. A rare gem with heart and value.

The entrance has a dedicated drop-off zone, making it super convenient if you’re arriving by Grab or other rideshare services. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend local restaurants or help plan activities. My room was slightly smaller than your typical international five-star, but incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated in classic French style. It faced the lush garden courtyard, so absolutely quiet—no traffic noise at all, which made for excellent sleep quality. The breakfast buffet was outstanding: fresh, diverse, and thoughtfully presented. I especially loved the egg coffee served in a delicate porcelain cup—it added such a special touch to the morning ritual. This hotel truly offers a unique blend of history, luxury, and genuine hospitality. If I ever return to Hanoi, this will be my first choice without hesitation.
