I had higher expectations for this stay, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite match. The breakfast area was poorly managed—no staff greeted us upon entry in the morning, tables weren’t set even after the second day, and there was only one coffee machine shared by all guests. Water ran out quickly, forcing long waits. The eggs were overcooked (only soft-boiled on request), and the spreads—jam, honey, and butter—came in single-use plastic packets. No toast or crispbread was available, and despite lunch being served daily, whipped cream for coffee wasn’t offered. The meat selection was extremely basic: no prosciutto, no smoked salmon, and no nuts. Fresh fruit was just dumped in a basket—adding a fruit salad would’ve been a nice touch, especially for a sports-oriented hotel. Sadly, there were no gluten-free pastries, lactose-free yogurt, or milk options. Room amenities were standard: one armchair, minimal bathroom storage space for toiletries, and no makeup wipes provided. The showerhead wasn’t clearly described—turning it too far results in a sudden cold spray from above, which is a real surprise. In June, noise from Prater Park could still be heard through closed windows in back-facing rooms. That said, two things stood out positively: the air conditioning was nearly silent, and the front desk staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.
Absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel is perfectly located near the Vienna Messe, just a short metro ride away, and everything you need is within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—daily cleaning was thorough and consistent, keeping the room spotless throughout my visit. Special shoutout to Vellanika at reception: she went above and beyond with her warm, genuine hospitality and always made sure any request was handled promptly and efficiently. It felt less like a transaction and more like being welcomed by a friend. The value for money is outstanding, and I’d happily return without hesitation. A top choice for both business travelers and tourists visiting Vienna.
I stayed at Ibis Budget Wien Sankt Marx and was truly impressed by the comfort level. The room was cozy and well-designed, with a super comfortable bed that made for a restful night's sleep. Located just a short walk from the subway station, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around Vienna. There are plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to enjoy authentic Viennese life. What stood out most was the great value for money—this budget-friendly hotel delivers a high-quality experience without breaking the bank. Definitely a top pick for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Vienna.
I stayed for one night at this property and found it to be a solid option if you're looking for something budget-friendly with good transit access. Located just outside the city center, it's still very convenient thanks to its proximity to a subway station—just a few minutes away by train. I really appreciated the bed setup, which is uncommon in Europe: it offers a sense of separation from the surroundings, making it feel more private and cozy. The room comes with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, which is perfect for travelers who want to cook their own meals or prefer a bit more independence. The only downside was that towels weren’t provided, even though they’re shown in the photos on the platform—this was a bit misleading. Overall, despite that small issue, the stay was acceptable, especially for travelers prioritizing value and location over luxury. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done.
I booked Hotel Pribitzer for a single night after attending a concert at the Wiener Konzerthaus, and I’m glad I did. The hotel is just a short walk away from the venue—perfect for post-concert convenience. While the building looks a bit dated on the outside, everything inside was spotlessly clean, which really mattered to me. The rooms aren’t overly luxurious, but they’re functional and comfortable enough for a quick stay. The front desk isn’t always staffed, but if you press the call button, someone responds immediately—very efficient. Breakfast is included in the room rate, though I couldn’t try it since I had to check out before 8 a.m. Still, knowing it’s part of the deal adds great value. The price is fair, and considering how close it is to the concert hall, I’d definitely book here again if I’m back in Vienna for another show.
Staying at Melia Vienna was an absolute delight. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of the city—especially stunning from the window facing the historic center. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. I especially recommend checking out the 57th-floor lounge—it’s truly a hidden gem. With panoramic views stretching across Vienna, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a drink or enjoy a quiet moment while taking in the skyline. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel delivers on every level. A standout experience that exceeds expectations.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The room was spacious and beautifully designed, offering plenty of comfort and a great sense of openness. The breakfast area overlooks the Danube River—waking up to that view with swans gliding by was magical. It made for some stunning photos, especially in the morning light. While it’s about a 10-minute walk to the train station, the route is pleasant and well-connected, with easy access to local shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Public transport links are solid, making it convenient for exploring Vienna. Overall, the location, views, and amenities make this a top-tier choice—definitely worth returning to.
I happened to pass through Vienna and booked this hotel on a whim, mainly because of the fitness facilities and pool. I was pleasantly surprised— the outdoor pool is entirely stainless steel, something I've never seen before, and it really stood out. I took a swim both in the evening and early morning, and it was absolutely refreshing. There's also a sauna by the pool area, though I didn’t get a chance to try it out. Breakfast was solid with good variety and quality. The only minor downside was that the mattress was a bit too soft and the room felt slightly dated, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk to the nearest subway station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it’s a great value for anyone who loves swimming and staying active. Definitely worth a return visit, and I’d highly recommend it to travelers who prioritize a good pool and easy access to public transit.
Staying at Arcotel Kaiserwasser Wien was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a quick walk through the underground passage to the nearest subway station, making it super easy to explore Vienna’s highlights. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of fresh options from pastries to local specialties, all served in a bright, inviting dining area. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and even offered luggage storage without hesitation. It’s clear they care about guest comfort. This hotel offers excellent value for the quality and convenience. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Vienna.
Even though the hotel isn’t located in the city center, it’s just steps from the U1 subway station, making downtown access a quick 10–15 minute ride—super convenient. It’s also only one stop away from the United Nations headquarters, perfect for business travelers or those attending meetings in the area. Right on the ground floor, there’s a fast-food spot and a decent-sized supermarket, so all daily essentials are easily accessible. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—when I mentioned a slight odor in my initial room, they immediately arranged a room change with no hassle. I also appreciated the complimentary milk and coffee available in the lobby, which was a nice touch, especially during colder months. The room itself is well-equipped with a kitchenette including an oven and microwave, ideal for self-catering. Cleanliness was excellent—no issues at all. The interior design feels warm and inviting, creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere. Overall, this was an outstanding stay. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and value.
Staying at the Best Western Plus Amedia Wien was an absolutely excellent experience. The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials—everything felt modern and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep, and the natural light pouring in through the windows made the space feel bright and welcoming. Located just a short walk from public transit, it’s easy to explore Vienna’s city center without hassle, yet the neighborhood remains peaceful and quiet—ideal for unwinding after a busy day. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. I truly felt valued as a guest. With such high quality, great location, and outstanding service, the value for money is exceptional. Definitely a place I’d recommend—and one I’ll be returning to on my next visit to Vienna.
Staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe was an excellent choice for my business trip. The hotel is literally across from the Wien Messe exhibition center—perfect for meetings and events, with zero commute time. The staff were professional and friendly, always ready to help. Breakfast was a highlight: abundant, fresh, and well-prepared with a great variety of options. The room was spacious and thoughtfully equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, and all the essentials. The bathroom was clean, well-organized, and modern. I especially appreciated the quiet location just behind the university district—peaceful yet convenient. Public transport is super accessible; the nearest subway station is less than a 5-minute walk away, and there's always a steady stream of taxis waiting right outside. For anyone attending conferences or traveling for work in Vienna, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience and comfort. I’d definitely book here again.
