The room had large windows, giving a very open and calming feel, and the value for money was excellent. It's just a short walk to the themed street, so there are plenty of great dining options nearby—location is perfect! The only downside was that I booked a late checkout, but staff kept misunderstanding and I had to clarify twice. It was a bit frustrating, but overall, the stay was still very positive. Great hotel with solid comfort and convenience.

I booked this hotel because the price was really attractive, and a week later I received an email from the hotel saying there was a pricing error—basically, my rate was too low and they wanted to increase it. At first, I considered canceling and booking another place closer to the subway, even if it meant paying a bit more for peace of mind. But just as I was about to cancel, Ctrip called me to clarify the situation. After explaining what happened, they kept following up with the hotel and eventually managed to resolve it—offering me compensation so I could still stay at the original rate. I accepted, since I didn’t lose anything. The check-in time was initially set for after 2:00 PM, but then I got another email a few days before arrival saying it was now 4:00 PM. While it didn’t affect our plans, constantly changing the details made me feel frustrated. When we arrived on the day, we were told check-in was only until 11:30 PM. It was raining heavily, and we waited outside for a while. When we went in, the front desk said there was no record of my reservation. After some back-and-forth verification, we found out that someone with the same last name had already checked in, and their information had been mistakenly linked to my booking. We were told to wait for her to return. Fortunately, one of my travel companions had a private room, so we stayed in her room temporarily since there was no seating area in the lobby. We waited past midnight, and I started worrying—what if my friend hadn’t reserved a second room? Would we have had to sleep outside? It’s not just inconvenient—it’s a serious issue. Thankfully, the hotel eventually sorted it out and gave us our room. They were also staying in two separate rooms, so no real disruption occurred. But here’s the thing: if someone had actually taken the room, where would we have stayed? Why couldn’t they just swap rooms or handle this more smoothly? This entire mess was due to poor hotel management. We didn’t even get to check in on time, and yet we were left waiting in the rain. No apology, no clear explanation—just confusion. We were lucky we didn’t end up stranded. My only hope is that future guests know to double-check their bookings, keep communication open, and be prepared for potential hiccups like this. Don’t let your trip turn into a stressful ordeal.
