We stayed for a week and overall had a very positive experience. The apartment is bright, spacious, and beautifully designed with a cozy, homey feel. The beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Malaga—just steps away from restaurants and lively bars. We’ve been here three times now and still love the city, even when it poured rain during our visit. That said, there were some drawbacks: only one person out of four could get a warm shower—others had to endure cold water, which was quite uncomfortable. The noise level was also a major issue, especially on weekends. With six bars and restaurants literally within 20 steps of the front door, the music and chatter carried through the night until around 6 a.m., making it hard to sleep—even with earplugs. The kitchen was under-equipped for cooking, which was disappointing. Despite these concerns, we’d still recommend Malaga for a city break. The charm of the place outweighs the downsides, and we’re already planning our next trip.
This place truly stands out among all the hotels I've stayed at. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the heart of Málaga, with restaurants, shops, and attractions all within easy reach. The room was spacious, incredibly comfortable, and very well-maintained. The bed was cozy, and the overall atmosphere felt clean and welcoming. My only minor concern was a faint odor from the bathroom drains near the ground-floor entrance, but it wasn't overwhelming—opening the window helped clear it up quickly. Despite that small issue, the experience was excellent. For a great mix of comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel is definitely worth considering on your next visit to Málaga.
The property was a major disappointment compared to the photos on the platform. The apartment was dirty, with visible cobwebs in corners and an unclean kitchen counter that looked unpleasant. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, which was annoying during our stay. We were only given fresh towels once during our entire 7-night stay—no additional cleaning or housekeeping visits at all. There was also no option to store luggage, making check-in and check-out very inconvenient. Overall, the condition of the unit and lack of basic service made this experience far below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained place.
Upon arrival, the bed linens were visibly dirty, and a terrible smell emanated from the fridge-freezer—clearly not cleaned properly, with bacteria producing a foul odor that spread into the kitchen. Even the plug-in air freshener didn’t help; it just added another unpleasant scent, likely meant to mask the fridge’s stench. The kitchen window was left wide open—probably to ventilate the bad smell. The lounge TV was positioned so low it was barely above floor level, making viewing painful and awkward—perfect if you enjoy neck strain! The only redeeming factor was the stunning sea view. Overall, this apartment is a major disappointment. I’d strongly advise avoiding it and choosing somewhere else—there are plenty of far more pleasant and better-value options. Check-in was confusing, and despite leaving early due to the poor experience, no refund was offered. My vacation plan was ruined. Don’t be fooled by the photos—they’re misleading.
The accommodation is perfectly located right in the heart of the city—super convenient for exploring on foot or via public transit. Staying in an apartment format was a big plus, offering plenty of space and a homey feel with all the essentials. However, be sure to plan ahead for your access codes—communication can be tricky if you don’t coordinate early. The only downsides were the shower area, which wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been, and a faint odor coming from the plumbing. Not deal-breaking, but something worth noting if you’re particular about hygiene. Overall, this is a solid choice, especially for travelers who value location and independence while enjoying a more authentic local vibe.
Our stay at Iloftmalaga Premium Centro Histórico in Málaga was far from satisfactory. The apartment listing online showed beautiful photos, but the reality was a big disappointment. The unit had visible wear and tear—scratches on the walls near chair backs, torn pillowcases, stained curtains and carpets, a cracked mirror in the secondary bathroom, slow-draining sinks in the main bathroom, and an extremely difficult-to-operate front door lock. The coffee maker didn’t work initially, and we were only given a replacement later that day. Communication with the team was frustrating—emails took forever to reply, so we ended up creating a WhatsApp account just to get a response. We’re both in our sixties and arrived from Canada after 27 hours without sleep. We had no idea where Alameda Principal was and had to walk over 500 meters with heavy luggage to the office, which was located just a short distance away—no shuttle or assistance offered. This was easily one of the most exhausting arrivals we’ve ever experienced, even after traveling extensively across Europe. Prior to arrival, we received a warm message from someone named José promising personalized support throughout our stay—but he never responded to any of our messages. It’s disappointing that a property marketed as premium with high-end pricing fails to deliver even basic guest service. A proper concierge experience is expected at this level, but here, it simply wasn’t there. If you're looking for a hassle-free, well-supported stay in Málaga, this isn’t the place.
Staying at Gran Hotel Miramar GL was an absolute delight. The hotel’s Arabic-inspired architecture is stunning and exactly my kind of vibe—unique and elegant. Located right on the beach, every morning began with the sound of waves and a breathtaking view of the sparkling blue sea. The facilities are top-notch: the rooftop lounge offers incredible sunset views, the pool area is peaceful and well-maintained, and the on-site restaurants serve delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. What really stood out was the staff—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. From check-in to checkout, the service felt personal and genuine. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of style, comfort, and hospitality. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Málaga with a touch of exotic charm, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be returning.
The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the heart of Málaga, with great access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The balcony was a real highlight; I loved starting my mornings there with a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise. The room was airy and well-ventilated, making for a restful night’s sleep. The mattress was just right—comfortable without being too soft—and I woke up feeling refreshed. I actually overslept and missed breakfast, but that’s not a dealbreaker since everything else was so good. Overall, an excellent stay with great value, and I’d definitely come back.
Staying at Only You Hotel Málaga was a fantastic experience, especially because of its unbeatable location. Right across from the harbor and just steps away from the lively pedestrian street, everything you need—restaurants, shops, and scenic views—is literally at your doorstep. The only minor inconvenience is that parking and luggage drop-off aren’t available right at the entrance; you’ll need to walk a short distance down a side street to reach the designated area. But honestly, it’s not a big deal—just a quick walk, and the convenience of the location easily outweighs this small hassle. The hotel itself is stylish, clean, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for a central, convenient base in Málaga with a great vibe, this place is absolutely worth considering.
Staying at Ilunion Málaga was an absolute delight. The hotel is just a 7-8 minute walk from both the train station and bus terminal, with several supermarkets within a 500-meter radius—super convenient for grabbing essentials. The staff went above and beyond; when I mentioned my back pain, they immediately replaced the mattress with a firmer one without hesitation. On the morning we were heading to Barcelona, I needed to keep some medication refrigerated—I asked the front desk during breakfast, and they promptly provided a fridge. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out. The room was spacious and clean, with two free bottles of water delivered daily. Breakfast was exceptional—plenty of variety, high quality, and new dishes introduced every day. Despite the excellent amenities and location, the price remains very reasonable. This place offers incredible value for money. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends.
Staying at Barceló Málaga was an absolute highlight of my trip! The location couldn’t be better—right next to the train and bus stations, making it super easy to get around town or head out to nearby attractions. With multiple bus stops just steps away, exploring the old town or heading to the beach was a breeze. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so grabbing a quick bite or stocking up on snacks was never an issue. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and staff are friendly and helpful. If you're visiting Málaga, this is definitely a top pick for both convenience and comfort.
The service at NH Malaga was absolutely exceptional—every single staff member I encountered was smiling, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. From the moment we arrived at the front desk to relaxing by the pool, the attention to detail and genuine warmth made all the difference. It felt like more than just a hotel stay—it felt like being part of a friendly community. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, with every interaction leaving a positive impression. Our room was clean, modern, and perfectly comfortable, and being just a short walk from the city center made exploring so easy. If you're looking for a hotel that combines top-tier hospitality with a great location, this is it. Truly unforgettable and definitely worth every penny.
