Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort

The hotel might be a bit dated in terms of decor, but overall it still delivers that signature Anantara experience—truly reliable and top-notch. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making the stay feel genuinely special. There was just one awkward moment at check-in with a front-desk team member who kept pushing a workshop event (something regular Anantara guests would recognize—just politely decline). But then she started asking personal questions like if we were a couple, even after we clarified we weren’t. She followed up with: 'Are you both single?'—which felt way too intrusive. Not sure what was going on there. Still, this one minor issue didn’t take away from the great vibe. Love Anantara for everything else—it’s just that sometimes the enthusiasm crosses the line.

Chakrabongse Villas

Absolutely a delightful surprise! This place truly feels more like a private villa than a hotel, nestled in such a serene and picturesque setting along the Mae Nam River. Waking up to breakfast with the river view was pure bliss—calm, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing. The owner lady is incredibly warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable. Every little detail reflects genuine care and attention. It's rare to find such authentic hospitality combined with such an idyllic atmosphere. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with charm and heart, this is it. I'd definitely come back without hesitation.

Tinidee Trendy Bangkok Khaosan

We stayed at Tinidee Trendy Bangkok Khaosan with my brother and sister during our trip to Thailand, and it was a perfect choice for our short break in Bangkok. The location is unbeatable—right on the bustling Khaosan Road pedestrian street, where there are countless restaurants and shops just steps away. It’s also very convenient for visiting the Grand Palace—just a short walk or quick transit ride. The room was ideal for three of us, with three compact beds that fit perfectly without feeling cramped. Cleanliness and comfort were great, and the overall vibe felt modern yet cozy. Breakfast was simple but filling, offering basic options to start the day. While not fancy, it got the job done. We highly recommend this place for travelers looking for a central, budget-friendly stay with a lively neighborhood feel. Definitely would book again if we return to Bangkok.

Nouvo City Hotel

I was genuinely surprised by how great this hotel turned out to be. The place is spotless, and the location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from Khao San Road (about 400 meters), so you can easily explore the area without feeling overwhelmed. Despite being close to such a busy street, the hotel sits beside a small river that keeps the noise down, making it peaceful yet still central. There are plenty of restaurants right outside the front door, so dining options are super convenient. The pool is clean and well-maintained, which always makes a difference when you're relaxing after a long day. Housekeeping is prompt—rooms are cleaned regularly, and water is refilled quickly. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful upon check-in, setting a positive tone for the whole stay. Everything about this place felt thoughtfully done. I’d definitely come back here on my next trip to Bangkok—it’s one of the best stays I’ve had in the city.

Riva Surya Bangkok

Our honeymoon journey began with a perfect stay at Riva Surya Bangkok! We only had one day in Bangkok before heading to Phuket, but this hotel truly made our trip unforgettable. Recommended by a friend, we were blown away by the cleanliness, exceptional service, and unbeatable location—right near the main street, making it super easy to explore or hop on the metro. Even though we stayed just one night, the experience felt premium and well worth every penny. Whether you're passing through briefly or planning a longer stay, this place offers incredible value. Thank you for setting such a wonderful tone for our first adventure as a couple—we’re so grateful and can’t recommend it enough!

The Royal River Hotel

This stay at The Royal River Hotel was truly exceptional overall. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the metro and super convenient for exploring Bangkok’s highlights. The room cleanliness stood out immediately; everything felt meticulously cleaned, down to the smallest detail. The staff are attentive and genuinely friendly—no hesitation in tipping them because their service was so thoughtful. Breakfast options were plentiful, though personally I didn’t love the flavors (it’s just my taste, not the hotel’s fault). One minor note: hot water ran cold after 12 PM, but honestly, that’s a tiny trade-off for such a great experience. From the ambiance to the comfort level, this place delivers high value. I’d absolutely stay here again—and without any second thoughts, I’ll keep giving generous tips to those who deserve it.

Praya Palazzo

Staying at Praya Palazzo felt like stepping into a quiet chapter of Bangkok’s history. Nestled along the serene banks of the Chao Phraya River, it’s just a short boat ride away from Khao San Road and the National Museum—perfect for travelers who love convenience without the noise. With only 15 thoughtfully designed rooms, each one captures the elegance of Siam-era architecture, blending traditional Thai elements with modern comfort. I stayed in a river-view room, and waking up to the gentle flow of the river was pure magic. Though the rooms are compact due to the building’s heritage roots, that adds to the charm—there’s no cookie-cutter feel here, just authenticity. The outdoor heated pool, riverside garden, and peaceful library make this place ideal for unwinding. What truly sets it apart? You arrive and depart by private boat—no cars, no crowds, just tranquility. Breakfast is a highlight: several beautifully presented options, fresh and delicious. But honestly, the real star is the service—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. Every staff member goes the extra mile, making you feel like family. If you’re looking for a unique, intimate stay with soul, this is it.

Staying at The Theatre Residence in Bangkok was a fantastic experience. Located near the Grand Palace and the river pier, getting around is super convenient—public transport is just steps away, and there are plenty of local eateries nearby. The hotel offers on-site parking, which is a big plus for those traveling by car. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself is well-designed with a separate kitchenette area—perfect for preparing light meals. It comes with a large fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and even an outdoor balcony where we could relax and enjoy the breeze. The space feels spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Overall, the quality of the accommodation matches the price perfectly. For travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and value, this is an excellent choice.

Samsen Street Hotel

Staying at Samsen Street Hotel was an absolute highlight of our trip to Bangkok. We actually ended up staying here for both our first and last nights—originally only planning one night, but the moment we arrived, we knew we had to come back. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality and genuine kindness. From check-in to checkout, every interaction felt personal and welcoming. The pool area is a true gem—perfect for relaxing, reading, or even watching a movie under the stars. It’s quiet, well-maintained, and feels like your own private retreat. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with modern touches. Location-wise, it’s just steps away from local gems and public transport, making exploration effortless. The Star of Sathorn

Just back from Bangkok and I have to say staying at The Star of Sathorn was an absolutely fantastic experience—highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! The location is unbeatable: just a 3-5 minute walk to the BTS Wongwian Yai station, making it super easy to reach Siam without hassle. Right outside the hotel, you’ll find a 7-Eleven and plenty of local street food stalls—everything’s affordable (most meals under $3 USD), which made daily life incredibly convenient. The owner is from Taiwan, so there’s full Chinese-speaking service, which made communication smooth and stress-free, especially for first-time visitors to Thailand. He’s genuinely warm and helpful—he offered travel tips, arranged airport transfers, and even helped with private car bookings. Honestly, we arrived at 2 PM on a Saturday, waited 20 minutes for a Grab, and ended up paying more than the owner’s transfer quote, including tolls—definitely not worth it! We were a family of four (two adults, two kids) and stayed in a Japanese-style tatami room—cozy, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably clean. The bedding was comfortable, rooms were tidied daily, and the elevator made carrying luggage much easier. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained and the value for money is outstanding. This isn’t just a good hotel—it’s a standout experience. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit Bangkok.
