We were truly delighted with our stay at this property. Located on the 7th floor—right on top—the views and quietness were perfect despite being directly opposite Glasgow Central Station. The sound of passing trains was barely noticeable, just a gentle hum, which didn’t disrupt our rest at all. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Glasgow, just a short walk from George Square and other main attractions. A hop-on hop-off bus stop is literally steps from the entrance—super convenient for exploring the city. The apartment itself was spotless, fresh, and generously spacious. The bedding and furnishings were incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Service stood out—when we noticed a curtain had come off its track, we reported it, and it was fixed the very next day. That kind of prompt attention really impressed us. Plus, secure underground parking was a huge plus, even though we didn’t use our car during our three-day visit. It gave us peace of mind knowing our belongings and vehicle were safe. From location to comfort to service, every detail felt thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend for travelers who value convenience, quality, and reliability.
Staying at Riverview Apartments was an absolute delight. The spacious apartment offered breathtaking views of the river, and the natural light flooding in made the space feel even more inviting. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a short walk to all the best restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. The place was immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable, with everything you’d need for a relaxing stay. Special shoutout to Lindsay, who went above and beyond—she allowed us to store our luggage well before check-in and even accommodated a late checkout without any hassle. Her friendliness and professionalism made a huge difference. This place truly delivers on every front, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow.
We stayed at Tartan Lodge for two nights and it was one of the most enjoyable hostel experiences we’ve had so far—definitely a step up from our previous stay in Inverness. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The beds were comfortable, with no military-style stiffness, and the shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The common lounge is cozy and inviting—perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. If you want to cook your own meals, the kitchen is fully equipped, though we noticed there weren’t enough mugs, and some of the pots and pans could use a refresh. That said, the location is fantastic—just a short walk to the city center, and there are plenty of sights along the way. Great value, great vibe, and definitely worth recommending.
This stay in Glasgow was absolutely perfect! The Royal Chambers Serviced Apartments offered a clean, modern, and welcoming atmosphere that made our weekend getaway truly enjoyable. Easy access to the city center and clear instructions sent via email before arrival made everything seamless. The bed was incredibly comfortable—woke up feeling completely refreshed. I especially appreciated the homemade shortbread and complimentary drinks, which added a nice personal touch. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. I’d happily return again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Glasgow.
Stayed in room 236, located in the new wing of the hotel—huge, modern, and super comfortable. Two nights was just right, and the location was excellent, with easy access to downtown Glasgow by public transit. A couple of things to note: if you're particular about breakfast options, be prepared for a classic Scottish spread—think cold cuts, fried eggs, and simple fare—not much in the way of hot or continental choices. Also, there's no parking available on-site, so driving here requires finding off-street options nearby. That said, it didn't take away from the overall experience. The room quality, staff friendliness, and value for money made this a great stay. Highly recommend!
Staying at V City ApartHotels Glasgow Central was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from all the main attractions and public transport links, making exploration effortless. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with modern amenities that made our stay feel like home. What stood out most was the local pub right across the street—perfect for a relaxing drink after a day of sightseeing. Everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed, from the welcoming staff to the attention to detail. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a great base for experiencing Glasgow. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Staying at the Rennie Mackintosh Hotel - Central Station was a delightful experience. The hotel has a charming, old-fashioned ambiance that instantly makes you feel welcomed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with every request—nothing was too much trouble. Room rates were reasonable for the quality and comfort offered. The space was cozy and warm, though the bed was slightly narrow for two adults and a young child. Still, this minor drawback didn’t take away from the overall excellent stay. The location is perfect for exploring Glasgow, and the unique character of the hotel truly stands out. I’d definitely recommend it and return again.
Staying at The Merchant City Inn was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Glasgow, steps away from shops, restaurants, and attractions. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with local tips and travel advice. My room was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Given the prime location and affordable price point, this hotel offers exceptional value. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow—great quality, great service, and a perfect base for exploring the city.
Located just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, this Travelodge offers unbeatable convenience with countless pubs, cafés, and restaurants all within easy reach. Shopping options nearby cater to every taste and budget—perfect for a quick stroll after checking in. The only minor downside? I didn’t realize the room didn’t include a hairdryer until after my post-shower hair wash. Thankfully, it was a warm day, so my hair dried naturally without too much hassle. We even stopped by Bier Halle nearby—absolutely loved the vibe and selection of craft beers. Already planning our next stay here! Great value, excellent location, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely recommend.
Staying at Artto Hotel was a great choice for my trip to Glasgow. The location is unbeatable—right next to the train station, so getting around the city is super convenient. I didn’t have to walk far to catch any trains, which made my journey stress-free. The room was spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of room to move around and relax after a long day. The bathroom was clean, modern, and had everything I needed—great water pressure and good lighting. Overall, it’s a fantastic option if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and value. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to travelers who want a hassle-free stay in the heart of Glasgow.
Staying at Revolver Hostel was a great experience—my second time in a hostel, and this one definitely stands out. Located right in the heart of Glasgow, it’s super convenient for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. I was tired from a long day of sightseeing, but even with evening music events, I still managed to sleep well—great soundproofing in the rooms. The elevator is a real plus, especially when carrying luggage up and down. Clean, friendly staff, and a vibrant atmosphere without being too noisy. Overall, an excellent value for money option in a fantastic location. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience.
Absolutely worth every penny! We stayed here during a business trip with our kids for a long weekend, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always thinking ahead. They even helped keep the kids entertained when we were swamped with work, which felt like having a personal concierge. The spa is a real highlight: spacious, beautifully renovated a few years ago, and free for guests twice daily—perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety, generous portions, and if you asked for something off-menu (within reason), they’d happily cook it fresh. Dinner was also impressive, with elegant plating and a Michelin-inspired touch, though the portion sizes were on the larger side—left us full but not quite satisfied in terms of hunger. Still, the quality and experience were top-notch. Whether you're traveling for work or family fun, this hotel delivers an unforgettable stay.
