Staying at Xana Hotel Qingdao North Station Keji Daxue was a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained—exactly what I hoped for. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the front desk staff, especially Qiqi and Jingjing. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and hidden-gem restaurants. They even proactively provided coffee and hot water throughout our stay—such a nice touch! The location is super convenient, just a short walk from Qingdao North Railway Station and close to Keji Daxue campus. Easy access to public transport and all the essentials. For the price, this hotel offers outstanding value and genuine hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Qingdao.

Qingdao Ethos Hotel

Staying at Qingdao Ethos Hotel was a delightful surprise. I didn’t get a chance to take photos of the room, but I booked the bathtub king room—definitely bigger than a standard king, perfect if you value extra space. The cleanliness was outstanding, and I really liked the subtle, fresh scent of the shampoo. Breakfast was average but slightly better than what I’ve had at other budget chains like Full Season or Orange Hotel. One thing worth noting: there are only two bathtub king rooms on the floor, so if you book two rooms, they’re placed at opposite ends—can’t be adjacent. That said, it’s not a dealbreaker. For solo travelers, the bathtub king might feel a bit oversized; the standard king is probably more practical. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk from Taodong Pedestrian Street—convenient yet peaceful, ideal for those who want both access and quiet. The staff were friendly and welcoming, mostly young and energetic, with quite a few Korean guests around. Overall, a very pleasant stay with great value and a warm vibe.

The hotel is directly across from a shopping mall, super easy to find, and just a quick walk from the subway—perfect for getting around. I’d seen some reviews mentioning noise concerns, but honestly, I didn’t notice a thing. I kept the window open all night and slept like a baby. The robot delivery service is such a fun touch, and having a mini-fridge in the room made things even more convenient. Everything about this stay was top-notch—from the location to the service to the quiet, comfortable room. Qingdao’s great, but this hotel really makes it unforgettable. Definitely coming back!
