Starmoon Hotel Beijing

Staying at Starmoon Hotel Beijing near Dongfengbei Bridge was a great choice for my business trip to Beijing with my kids. While the facilities are a bit dated, the location more than makes up for it—right next to the subway station, making travel around the city super convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always greeting us with a smile. They cleaned the room daily and replaced the bottled water and disposable items without fail. Even though some of the amenities feel a little worn, everything was kept clean and well-maintained. For travelers who value convenience and a welcoming atmosphere over brand-new luxury, this hotel delivers excellent value. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing who wants easy access to public transit and a comfortable, no-fuss stay.

Beijing Jiabao Hotel (Beijing Xibahe Subway Station International Exhibition Center Branch)

Staying at Beijing Jiabao Hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent hygiene standards. The staff, especially the housekeeping team, were very polite and friendly—always greeting guests with a smile. One minor issue was that the lighting in the room was a bit dim when we first arrived, but after mentioning it to the front desk, they promptly replaced the bulb with a brighter one within minutes. That kind of quick response really stood out. The hotel is conveniently located near Xibahe Subway Station, making it easy to reach the International Exhibition Center and other nearby attractions. With its great location, reliable service, and value for money, this is definitely a place I’d recommend for travelers visiting Beijing.

Four Seasons Hotel Beijing

Our first trip to Beijing with the family was made unforgettable by staying at Four Seasons Hotel Beijing. From the moment we arrived, every detail felt thoughtfully crafted. Special thanks to Henry from the concierge team for the little bunny he gave our daughter—she’s been carrying it everywhere ever since, absolutely smitten! We were also touched by Rebecca and Ethan from guest experience, who prepared a special photo frame as a keepsake. When we returned to our room, my daughter spotted it instantly and exclaimed, 'This is me and Daddy!' The joy and emotion in that moment brought tears to our eyes. The warmth and personal touch from every staff member made us feel truly welcomed, especially during Beijing’s chilly winter. It wasn’t just a hotel stay—it felt like coming home. We’re already planning our next visit, and there’s no place else we’d rather stay. Thank you for making our memories so precious.

Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center

Every weekend, I look forward to unwinding with a little peace and quiet—just me, a good book, and a break from the daily grind. Lately, my go-to has been the Executive Room at Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center, and it’s quickly become my cherished weekend ritual. Sure, the room is more compact compared to other luxury hotels, but the view of the Liangma River from the window makes every moment feel special—so serene, so picturesque, I can’t help but linger by the window. The highlight? The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner. The food is exceptional—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and far beyond what you’d expect at many five-star properties. On New Year’s Day, I was delighted to see service staff Feng Xiangchao again. He remembered my preference for warm dishes and kindly heated up the seafood before serving—such thoughtful attention to detail. The next day, another team member, He Xu, took time to recommend the best desserts and gently reminded parents to watch the kids—small things that show how genuinely care about guests’ comfort. During dinner, I met a couple with their child, who shared they also make it a habit to visit a luxury hotel every weekend. After trying several places, they keep coming back to Kempinski—not just for the food or rooms, but because of the warmth, the genuine hospitality, and that sense of home. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a sanctuary. A place where stress melts away, and memories are made. This year, we’ve already booked our Lunar New Year stay. Can’t wait to return and relive that feeling all over again.

Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace

Among the Crowne Plaza properties in Beijing, this Sun Palace location has consistently stood out for me—maybe because it feels newer compared to others like YouTang, Zhongguancun, or Lido. The overall facilities and room design are modern and well thought out, making the stay genuinely comfortable. It's conveniently located just outside the Northeast 3rd Ring Road, with easy access to subway stations nearby—perfect if you're relying on public transit. Driving in? Parking is only 40 RMB per day, which is very reasonable. Right now, the lobby is beautifully decorated with a stunning Christmas tree and festive touches throughout—definitely sets a cheerful mood. The elevators automatically light up your floor when you swipe your key card—a nice tech touch. Room space is generous, clean, and well-organized, with both shower and bathtub available. Even small details like alcohol wipes, toilet seat covers, and bath mats were thoughtfully provided. Only minor note: the hairdryer wasn’t the most powerful. The rooftop lounge on the 23rd floor offers afternoon tea and happy hour for guests with privileges—great for unwinding. Breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant was fantastic: a wide variety of coffee options, freshly made, plus an unexpected highlight—hard-boiled eggs already peeled! There’s also a great selection of soups, main dishes, desserts, and drinks. The 25-meter pool is spacious and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat. Staff service was excellent throughout—special thanks to Alice at reception, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, this was one of the best stays I’ve had in Beijing, and I’ll definitely be back.

I especially appreciated having a bathtub, which made it easy to unwind after a long day of travel. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly staff making the process feel personalized and stress-free. The elevators were fast and smooth, adding to the overall convenience. The only minor issue was a small gap in the protective strip on the wardrobe door—this has already been reported to the front desk, and I hope maintenance can improve routine checks. Location-wise, the hotel is ideally situated between Tiananmen Square and Capital Airport, with easy access to the high-speed rail station. Whether you're arriving or departing, getting around is effortless. Overall, this is a top-tier choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and excellent value—highly recommend!
