We mostly relied on Didi for transportation during our trip, which was both affordable and efficient. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had no unpleasant odors—very comfortable overall. One small suggestion: the bathroom floor is quite cold and slippery; adding non-slip slippers would make it even better. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—they answered all my questions promptly and even offered to hold packages for us. Their warm hospitality really made the stay memorable. This hotel offers outstanding value and service, making it a top choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Chengdu.

Around the hotel, there are countless great dining spots and local shops, making it super easy to explore on foot. What really stood out? The service. Our front desk supervisor, Xiao Liao, was incredibly warm, professional, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast, and she went above and beyond to help with any request—always with a genuine smile. Her attention to detail and kindness made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The housekeeping staff, Auntie Hu Su Rong, also left a lasting impression. Every day, the room was cleaned meticulously—no corner overlooked—and her care showed in how everything was neatly arranged, even small items that had been misplaced. The room itself is fantastic: spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with a private balcony, kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, and even a washing machine. Howdy Smart Hotel (Chengdu Chunxi Taikoo Li)

I'm Wang Pengyi, originally from Thailand, and this was my first solo trip to China—what an amazing experience! Staying at Howdy Smart Hotel in Chengdu's Chunxi Taikoo Li area truly made my visit unforgettable. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—my bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a little retreat. Every staff member I met was warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help, even with just a few words in English. They went above and beyond, especially when I checked out—they gave me a sweet little gift that showed how much they care about guest experience. This was my first time visiting Chengdu, and I’m already head over heels for the city. I can’t wait to come back, and I’ll definitely choose this hotel again. Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel

This was my first stay at Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of the city for the better. I was especially impressed by the cinema-themed room — the design is unique and stylish, exactly my kind of vibe. After checking several options, I chose this hotel mainly because of its unbeatable location: the metro entrance is right at the building’s doorstep, making it super easy to reach places like People's Park and the local museum. Breakfast was outstanding — abundant, fresh, and included handmade wontons and authentic bean curd pudding. The bathroom was well-maintained with perfect water temperature and strong shower pressure. But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! Plus, the room had zero unpleasant odors upon entry — just clean, fresh air. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value and attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu.

InterContinental Century City Chengdu

Staying at the InterContinental Century City Chengdu was an absolute delight during my trip to Chengdu. The front desk team, especially my dedicated concierge Maggie Zhang, went above and beyond—she reached out in advance, addressed me by name, and made me feel truly welcomed. She arranged breakfast for me and even helped with parking logistics, which was incredibly convenient. On New Year’s Eve, she personally sent warm holiday greetings—such a thoughtful touch! From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The hotel is beautifully designed, well-maintained, and perfectly located. It's not just a place to stay—it's a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be returning.
