Unlike other hotels where you’re forced to join crowded dining areas or even queue for breakfast, here everything felt calm and seamless. Even at the same price point, most properties don’t proactively explain room amenities or benefits—some guests end up missing perks because staff forget to apply them. At The Ritz-Carlton, they take care of it all upfront, which made my stay so much smoother. And then there’s David, my personal concierge—extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He recommended Sakura Terrace, a Japanese restaurant that perfectly matched my partner’s taste. The owner actually mentioned he was grateful for the recommendation from the hotel, which speaks volumes about their local partnerships. Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—right next to the subway line 3, making it super easy to explore Harbin’s central areas like Central Street. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with excellent soundproofing. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety of both Western and local options, fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly—the cute girl even handed me a scratch card, which added a nice surprise touch. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the iconic Sun Island Snowman. You won’t see polar bears from your room, but they’re frequently spotted in the hallways and restaurant areas, making it exciting for little ones. Morning sessions with the mischievous ‘school-skipping’ penguin include fun educational moments that kids love. (Just kidding—if your child hasn’t finished their homework, maybe don’t bring them… or risk getting a playful lecture!) I’ve always had a soft spot for Wyndham hotels, and this trip with my kids was no exception—I knew I wanted to stay at one again. Harbin Sun Island Hotel

We originally booked Friendship Palace for our trip to Harbin during the May Day holiday, but due to the strong smell from recent renovations, we had to switch last minute—luckily, only one room was left at Sun Island Hotel. What a lucky coincidence! The hotel is actually located within a large, serene park, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms are quiet, with clean air and excellent sound insulation—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Best of all, it's just a short walk to Sun Island Scenic Area and Polar Park, so we didn’t need to rely on transportation. Everything was convenient, well-maintained, and beautifully situated. Our stay exceeded expectations—this place truly delivers comfort, location, and value. I’d definitely come back.
