The hotel is spotless and has a very clean, modern vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. Location-wise, it’s super convenient if you’re taking Line 5—exit 6 is the closest, but exit 5 works just as well and is only a short walk away. One nice bonus: there’s a nail salon right on the ground floor with a 30% discount for guests. The nail technician was incredibly attentive and even allowed me to message ahead to discuss my preferred design. The results were flawless—professional, detailed, and absolutely beautiful. A great little touch that made our stay even more enjoyable.
Wangsimni Palace
Staying at Wangsimni Palace was a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—just a short subway ride from central Seoul, with plenty of dining options and vibrant night markets nearby. The hotel blends traditional Korean aesthetics with modern design, creating a unique and stylish atmosphere. The lobby and rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds offered great comfort for a good night's sleep. Noise insulation was decent, so I wasn’t disturbed by sounds from neighboring rooms. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. While the space isn’t overly large, it’s well-utilized and feels cozy rather than cramped. For travelers looking to enjoy an authentic Korean vibe without breaking the bank, this place offers solid value. I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Seoul.

The value for money at Hotel Star Premier Yeoksam is absolutely outstanding. Located just a short walk from Yeoksam Station, it's incredibly convenient for both business travel and exploring the city. The room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped—free bottled water and beverages were a nice touch, and I appreciated the complimentary charging cable right by the bed. Even though I didn’t use the desk computer, the wireless phone charger on the table was a thoughtful addition. Every little detail shows how well this hotel understands guest needs. The hotel is excellent overall—great location, super convenient for getting around Seoul, and the staff are very friendly. My only confusion was that I booked a two-night stay, but I had to check out on the second day and couldn’t recheck in until after 6 PM. That timing restriction felt a bit odd and wasn’t clearly explained upfront. Still, the team handled it well, and even though I had to move my luggage, it didn’t ruin the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and the value for money was strong. Definitely would stay here again.

The place was incredibly clean and well-maintained, giving a very welcoming vibe. The bathtub was spacious and so relaxing—perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul. Great value and comfort in one!

For travelers seeking comfort, privacy, and a refined atmosphere, this is a truly rewarding choice. The value for money is excellent, especially if you're looking for a serene escape without sacrificing luxury.
OYO hostel Dongdaemun 1
Staying at OYO Hostel Dongdaemun 1 was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient—nestled in a quiet alley just steps away from the subway entrance, making it easy to explore Seoul’s main attractions. The atmosphere throughout the hostel is warm and welcoming, especially on the 5th floor where breakfast is served with soft background music. The heating system works well during winter, keeping the rooms cozy and comfortable. While there are no disposable toiletries (like toothbrushes), they do provide towels, which is thoughtful. Be aware that there’s no elevator—so if you’re not up for climbing stairs, request a lower-floor room. Noise levels are decent; even though soundproofing isn’t perfect, there’s minimal disturbance at night. One of my favorite moments? Sipping coffee on the 5th floor during a snowfall, listening to music, chatting with friends, and watching the city turn white—it felt like a scene from a movie. The front desk staff speaks excellent English, but service hours are limited to 8 AM–10 PM. For other times, you’ll need to use alternative communication methods. Overall, this place offers great value, friendly vibes, and a unique charm. A solid choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in central Seoul.
