Also, the photos online are misleading; they make the room look much larger and more spacious than it actually is. In reality, only your head and lower legs would be visible in the frame. There was also an incident where a group was locked out of their room, and despite reaching out, reception didn’t resolve it promptly. Still, considering the price point, it’s a solid option if you're looking for a no-frills, functional stay with good service and great access to the city.

We had the best breakfasts of our entire three-week trip across South Africa (and 11 different stays!), plus memorable lunches and dinners featuring creative, standout dishes and surprisingly affordable wines. On our final day, we treated ourselves to a duo relaxation massage—perfectly arranged and utterly blissful. We stayed in the Cliffside room: spacious, elegant, with a gorgeous bathroom, private terrace, and garden overlooking the cliff. We even climbed up to the top for breathtaking panoramic views—absolutely unforgettable. The main pool area, with its incredibly comfortable loungers, wrapped up the experience perfectly. The staff are incredibly kind and professional, striking the ideal balance between boutique hotel charm and private villa freedom—so you can unwind without feeling isolated or confined.
