Hyatt House Chicago Medical/University District

This is my third stay at this hotel, and I can confidently say itโ€™s become a favorite whenever I visit Chicago. The room is consistently spacious and comfortable, and this time around, the mattress was especially cozyโ€”felt like I slept through the night without a single disturbance. Woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. The breakfast options are a bit limited and donโ€™t vary much, but everything is fresh and well-prepared. Itโ€™s not gourmet, but itโ€™s satisfying and reliable. The location is fantasticโ€”close to the medical campus and downtown, with easy access to public transit. For the price and overall experience, itโ€™s an excellent choice. Definitely coming back next time.

Hyatt Place Chicago Medical/University District

I was genuinely impressed by how spacious the hallway feltโ€”almost like a private residence rather than a hotel. The public areas are beautifully designed, with a modern and inviting vibe that sets it apart from typical chain hotels. Located right within the UIC medical district, it feels safe and well-connected. Just a short walk to both the Pink Line and Blue Line stations, making downtown Chicago easily accessible. Taylor Street is nearby, offering an amazing variety of restaurantsโ€”from casual eats to more upscale options. Plus, thereโ€™s a bus stop right outside the front door, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. This place combines comfort, safety, and location perfectly. Iโ€™d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Chicago Medical District UIC

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Medical District UIC and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The room was spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of comfort for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was excellentโ€”fresh, varied, and delicious, especially the hot options. While parking comes at an additional cost, itโ€™s worth it given how close the hotel is to downtown Chicago and major medical facilities. The fitness center is large and well-equipped, and having a pool on-site is a nice bonus for those who want to unwind after a long day. One thing to note is that daily housekeeping isnโ€™t provided, so Iโ€™d recommend bringing your own essentials if youโ€™re staying longer. Overall, this hotel offers great value, convenience, and a clean, modern atmosphere. Iโ€™d definitely return and highly recommend it to travelers looking for a reliable, no-frills stay in the area.
