Staying at Gran Melia Chengdu was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff went above and beyond—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. He remembered our preferences and checked in on us throughout the stay, which felt incredibly personal. The lobby lounge is elegant and relaxing, perfect for unwinding with a drink or just enjoying the ambiance. The beds were heavenly—luxuriously comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. We celebrated New Year’s Eve here, and the whole atmosphere was magical. It truly captures the tranquil vibe of Jiangnan. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with clean linens and thoughtful touches throughout. Right outside the door is the metro station, making travel around Chengdu incredibly convenient. The swimming pool is kept immaculate—crystal clear water and always well-sanitized. I’d definitely stay here again on my next business trip. Excellent location, great service, and fantastic value. Highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and work travelers.

Millennium Hotel Chengdu

Staying at Millennium Hotel Chengdu (South Station Branch) was a great experience overall. The room I booked was a scenic view room with plenty of space, and the view across the street to Xianshentree Park was absolutely stunning—perfect for morning light or evening city views. However, the windows were completely non-operable, which made ventilation an issue. I understand safety concerns due to the high floor level, but allowing a small opening would be much more practical than having no airflow at all. The staff were excellent—especially the concierge who helped me collect my package, saving me a lot of time. For food delivery, unfortunately, you have to go downstairs yourself to pick it up; a robot delivery service would be a nice upgrade. The laundry room only has one dryer, which became a major bottleneck during peak holiday periods—adding another unit would make a big difference. On the hygiene side, there’s room for improvement: no trash bags in any of the bins, making them uncomfortable to use, and there were stubborn stains on the bathroom floor that weren’t visible until I moved the carpet accidentally. Despite these minor issues, the hotel met my expectations. Great location, good value, and I’d definitely choose this place again when visiting Chengdu.

Renhe Spring Hotel

Honestly, I was blown away! We originally booked just one night, but after checking in, we extended for two more nights—so much so that we ended up staying five nights total. The room was spacious and well-designed: the bathroom and walk-in closet were generously sized, with a large desk, a cozy double sofa, and a coffee table perfect for family meals or just relaxing with tea. Everything felt clean and well-maintained—the light-colored carpet looked pristine, no odors at all. As a parent traveling with kids, this kind of hygiene and freshness is everything. The service was exceptional too, especially from Yang Shuang at reception. She noticed we had children right away and immediately gifted us a panda plushie, upgraded our room, and even provided complimentary breakfast for the little ones. It was such a thoughtful touch. Our kids absolutely loved it, and the breakfast spread was fantastic—especially the dan dan noodles, which became a daily must-have. The location couldn’t be better: just 20 meters from the subway station, making travel around Chengdu super easy. A short taxi ride to the airport (about 30 minutes) was affordable, and attractions like Du Fu’s Thatched Cottage were just a few hundred meters away. Right outside the hotel, you’ve got shopping options including Starbucks, a great Sichuan restaurant, luxury brands like Rolex, and more—great taste, great convenience. This trip to Chengdu was unforgettable, and the Renhe Spring Hotel made it even better. Even with a 4:30 AM flight, they happily granted us a late check-out until 2 PM—such a relief! I’ll definitely be back.

I reached out to the front desk ahead of check-in about a late checkout, and they responded with a warm yes—so easy and accommodating! Check-in took just three minutes, smooth and efficient. Stepping into my room was like entering a dream: a beautifully curated vintage palette paired with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. The high ceilings add to the airy, open feel—zero sense of claustrophobia. The full-length mirror? A game-changer. I couldn’t stop taking photos—every shot turned out picture-perfect. I even returned to the quiet lobby in the evening for more photos, enjoying the peaceful ambiance that truly highlights the hotel’s refined charm. Breakfast was served in a sunlit glass conservatory surrounded by lush greenery. Eating amidst nature made the morning so much brighter and more relaxing. The room had a stunning view of the city skyline at night—golden lights twinkling below made for an incredibly romantic atmosphere. The place is quiet and private, with excellent soundproofing, so we could relax without any disturbance. The service was attentive but never intrusive—just the right balance. What truly stood out was the exceptional service—every staff member, from front desk to housekeeping and dining staff, went above and beyond. I noticed I forgot my mouse pad, and without me even asking, a staff member kindly brought one up to my room. Later, when I mentioned I had no place to dry my laundry, they immediately provided a clothes rack. These little touches made such a big difference. It’s clear the team here genuinely cares about guest comfort. This level of attention to detail is rare and makes this hotel a standout. The room itself was spacious and immaculately clean, with a smart layout featuring a separate shower area and a relaxing bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Housekeeping was attentive and professional, coming daily to tidy up and even providing thoughtful extras like alcohol wipes and disposable toilet seat covers—small touches that really show care. Best of all, they offered a generous late check-out until 3 PM, which came in handy when we woke up late. It’s clear this hotel values guest comfort and convenience. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Chengdu—highly recommend!

Staying at this True Go S Hotel in Chengdu was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from Kuixinglou Food Street, with Kuanzhai Alley, People's Park, and Fuchin Night Market all within a 1–1.5 km radius. Everything you’d want for food, shopping, and sightseeing is right outside the door. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and even upgraded our room without hesitation. On check-out, we were surprised with a cute panda gift, such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was modern and well-equipped: smart lighting controls, a high-tech toilet, a large-screen TV for streaming, and some rooms even feature an air purifier system. Cleanliness stood out too—we wiped down every surface with disinfectant wipes and found nothing but spotless finishes. The breakfast was fantastic: a great mix of Western and Chinese options, with fresh fruit and freshly made noodles that everyone loved. There’s also a small gym and laundry facilities on-site, making it super convenient for longer stays. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, comfort, and hospitality.
