The only minor downside? The door isn’t very soundproof—so if you’re a snorer, you might worry about disturbing others (no judgment here!). But honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall charm. The whole place feels like a serene retreat tucked into the city, with thoughtful details everywhere. The staff, especially our host Xiao Xiao, were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. The corridors are adorned with traditional Chinese paintings, instantly setting a serene and artistic tone upon arrival. Public areas feature cozy seating and a peaceful balcony perfect for relaxing or taking photos. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful throughout our stay. I upgraded to the Huamu Suite, and it was absolutely worth every penny—spacious, well-appointed, with stunning views that made evenings especially memorable. Complimentary welcome fruits, a sweet dessert, and a delightful Hanfu experience added a special touch. We even had access to a dedicated entrance to Qingyang Palace, where friendly staff offered brief but insightful guided insights. There’s also a chance to spot a curious little cat darting through the courtyard (I missed the shot, but it was fun trying!). The location is unbeatable—right next to the metro station, no need to cross any streets. One thing to note: the 'Flower Time' activities are plentiful, but be sure to check with reception each day as schedules can change unexpectedly—I had a conflict and missed out on a few, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, this place delivers exceptional value. If I ever bring my girlfriends to Chengdu again, this will definitely be our top choice.
