The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and since I’m not used to local flavors, I appreciated being able to cook my own meals—there’s a fully equipped stove in the room, and there’s a fresh grocery store nearby with excellent seafood at affordable prices. Plus, there are tons of local eateries right around the corner—authentic, budget-friendly street food, and don’t miss the legendary traditional shāngshuǐ (sweet grass jelly) shop. Everything about this stay felt genuine, comfortable, and hassle-free. No regrets at all—I’d definitely come back.

Direct buses make it super easy to reach Dongdu and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street without transfers. On sunny days, I highly recommend heading to Yantwu Bridge for breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
