The rooftop garden on the fifth floor is a hidden gem, perfect for relaxing or just enjoying the view. The lobby itself is grand and beautifully designed—every corner is photogenic. Service was exceptional: staff greeted us warmly, opened doors, helped with luggage, and the dedicated concierge team went above and beyond to accommodate requests. The minibar comes at an extra cost, but we were pleasantly surprised with a welcome fruit platter, dessert, and a generous bottle of house-brewed beer—a unique touch. This brew isn’t available online, but it’s smooth, refreshing, and definitely worth trying. Overall, this hotel delivers a high level of charm, comfort, and value. The only minor issue was the pillow—I found it a bit too firm—but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately replaced it with a softer one. Staying at Grand Hyatt Dalian was an absolute highlight of my trip to Dalian! While the evening light show wasn’t my favorite, seeing it from the comfort of my room made it just as magical. The staff went above and beyond—prompt, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. During the off-season, they upgraded us to a spacious corner room without hesitation and even left a small gift. The fitness center is well-equipped, the pool is clean and inviting, but the real surprise was the sauna and hot tub area—beautifully designed, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. A quick 15-minute cab ride gets you to Jinsha Beach, making it easy to explore more of the city. This hotel offers incredible value, comfort, and charm—definitely a top-tier choice for first-time visitors to Dalian.
