The room itself was spacious, bright, and immaculately clean—exactly what you want after a long day. I especially appreciated the in-room laundry facilities; the washing machine and dryer worked perfectly, and they even provided a variety of detergents, which made doing laundry super convenient without needing to bring anything extra. I used the work area during my stay, and it’s well-equipped with plenty of charging outlets and complimentary tea and coffee—ideal for working remotely or just relaxing with a good drink. The fitness corner has a decent selection including a treadmill and stationary bike, perfect for staying active during a trip. Staying at Tianjin Cottages Homestay was an absolute delight! The place is spotlessly clean — from the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s well-maintained and hygienic. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by amazing local eateries. Whether you're craving street food, casual dining, or something more upscale, there's plenty to choose from nearby. Inside the room, everything was thoughtfully equipped — especially the projector, which delivered crisp, clear visuals for movie nights. It made our stay so much more enjoyable. Comfortable bed, quiet space, and excellent value for money. I’d definitely come back and recommend this gem to anyone visiting Tianjin.

The staff were warm and efficient—check-in was quick and friendly, and housekeeping responded promptly to small requests (like extra bottled water). Rooms were clean and well-maintained, beds comfortable, and bathrooms had a distinctive design with all essential amenities provided. One minor downside: some fixtures (like light switches) looked a bit dated, and sound insulation wasn’t perfect—could hear hallway noises—but given it’s a renovated older building, that’s understandable. Overall, this hotel nails what matters: atmosphere, location, and hospitality. If you’re after a memorable, stylish stay with a personal touch, this is an excellent pick. Zixia Express Hotel

I stayed at Zixia Express Hotel in Tianjin for one night and was genuinely impressed. The room was spotlessly clean, with fresh linens and a pleasant, odor-free atmosphere—perfect for a good night's sleep. The hotel is quiet and well-maintained, located near a convenience store and quick-service restaurants, making daily needs easy to access. It's also just a short subway ride from the city center, which made exploring super convenient. While the amenities are basic, everything essential was included: reliable Wi-Fi, hot water, and standard toiletries—all working perfectly. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in and check-out. Overall, this is a fantastic value for money option in Tianjin. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit.
