Grand Park Kunming

Staying just one night, but it felt like a perfect escape. The location is fantastic—easy access to downtown by metro, and best of all, no crowds at all. Traveling off-peak truly lets you enjoy the city at your own pace. The service here was exceptional, especially from Alan at reception. He upgraded my room for free upon check-in, and when I mentioned wanting to try the sauna, he not only confirmed we had a private steam room but went the extra mile to arrange it just for me. Turns out the facility is usually only opened when there are guests booking in, so having it reserved exclusively for me was a real surprise—and a wonderful touch. It made the whole experience feel personal and special. Definitely worth every penny, and I’ll be back.

The staff, especially a young lady at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and attentive—she even proactively arranged a room facing the quiet courtyard, knowing we were concerned about sleep quality. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The hotel’s overall ambiance is calm and welcoming, located just steps away from Kunming Railway Station and Wanda Plaza, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast can get busy in the morning, so splitting the dining area into two smaller sections would help reduce crowding. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations—great value, top-notch service, and a peaceful stay. We’ll definitely be returning.

The bed was outstanding—comfortable mattress and plush pillows made for a truly restful night's sleep. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the toiletries: the shampoo had a fresh scent and didn’t dry out my hair, and the toothbrush was surprisingly effective—better than what I usually bring from home! I actually didn’t need to pack any travel toiletries this time. Breakfast was a highlight too—wide variety of options with both local and Western-style dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. The overall value for money is excellent. I’d definitely book again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming.

昆明中維翠湖賓館真係一間令人驚喜的酒店！原本擔心老五星會有陳舊感，入住後完全放下心諗。整體維護得非常精緻，連地毯都乾淨整齊，一點冇異味，房間同洗手間潔淨到近乎完美，根本冇任何衞生死角。洗澡水流量大，腳底冇積水，夜燈控制設計貼心，用住好舒服。床褥乾爽整齊，睡覺質感一流。最讚係服務細節：前台小肖、新新、小鈺、小王，以至總枱打電話時遇到的女生，態度溫暖又專業，訓練有素。房間服務生亦同樣到位，每樣小事都處理得好。早餐係我住過最精緻嘅西餐廳之一，食材新鮮、選擇多，服務員態度友善，絕對值回票價。中餐廳一樓嘅菜式更驚人，每道都好好食，小曹等服務生表現出色。唯一建議係熱菜同肉類可以再豐富啲。總括而言，呢度唔單止性價比高，更加係一次難忘嘅入住體驗，日後一定首選！」},{
