Holiday Inn Shanghai Nanjing Road

Staying at Holiday Inn Shanghai Nanjing Road was an absolute delight! The staff, especially Violet and Leo at the front desk, were incredibly warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and kindness made us feel truly welcomed. The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortably furnished—perfect for a relaxing stay after a day exploring the city. The location is unbeatable: stepping out the window, you’re greeted by the vibrant energy of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with its dazzling lights and bustling atmosphere. We visited during New Year’s Day, and the festive vibe added extra magic to the experience. This hotel offers excellent value and convenience in one of Shanghai’s most iconic areas. I’d absolutely choose this property again on any future trip to Shanghai.

Wu Feifei at the main lobby also delivered top-notch hospitality. The lush greenery throughout the property added a peaceful touch, making the whole experience even more relaxing. With such a high standard of comfort, service, and ambiance, I’d definitely return without hesitation.

Location-wise, it’s perfectly positioned: quiet and away from the tourist crowds right outside the door, yet just a short walk or quick ride to the Bund. It’s rare to find a hotel that offers both tranquility and convenience. This stay exceeded all expectations. Despite the heavy crowd and high pressure on staff, the team handled everything with remarkable calm and efficiency. It’s rare to see such professionalism under busy conditions. Staying in the hotel during chilly weather, enjoying great food, and just unwinding—it felt like the perfect balance of comfort and indulgence. Special shoutout to Xiao Xu (Xiao X) at reception—quiet but incredibly effective, with that classic Shanghai sense of understated excellence. This place truly captures the spirit of Shanghai, and I’d definitely come back.
