Staying at Hangzhou Baoyi Hotel was a great experience overall. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-maintained—perfect for a relaxing night's sleep. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, making check-in and any requests smooth and stress-free. Located just minutes from the metro station, getting around Hangzhou was super convenient. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I’d definitely recommend it to fellow travelers and would stay here again on my next trip to Hangzhou.

This little gem turned out to be a true highlight of my trip! The location is perfect—quiet, peaceful, and just a short walk from all the top sights. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with a tasteful style, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. What really stood out was the incredible value for money—luxury comfort without the luxury price tag. If you're looking for a relaxing, well-located stay in Hangzhou, this place is an absolute must-book.

Staying at Cicada Hotel (West Lake Hupao) was a delightful experience overall. While the hotel has seen better days and shows some age in its furnishings, the location more than makes up for it—nestled right next to a lush forest park with fresh air, birdsong, and a serene natural vibe that instantly calms the mind. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, offering detailed, personalized tips on everything from public transit routes to family-friendly walking tours around nearby parks. They even gave us a solid itinerary for visiting the local zoo just a 5-minute walk away—admission is only $2.50 per person, and you can see a variety of rare animals! The on-site restaurant, Qing Chan Flower Kitchen, is absolutely worth a visit—authentic flavors and great value. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature, don’t mind a slightly older property, and appreciate thoughtful service, this place is a hidden gem in Hangzhou.

This was my second stay at Hangzhou Xixiang Homestay, and I chose it again during the peak osmanthus season—just like last year. Located in the heart of Manjuelong, this place offers incredible value for money: under ¥200 per night, yet you're surrounded by lush tea fields blooming with fragrant osmanthus flowers. The nearby 'Ma Deng Tribe' restaurant is a hit among locals and travelers alike—perfect for a cozy meal with a view. A short walk down the hill brings you to the famous Sizheng Well, just steps from a Starbucks, making it easy to grab a coffee or relax. Getting around is hassle-free—you can take a taxi, bus, or even hop on the metro without dealing with the tourist crowds in the main scenic areas. I highly recommend exploring the area during this time: stroll through the Youth & Children's Park to enjoy the breathtaking 'Osmanthus Rain' along the trails, then continue all the way to the zoo—home to lions, tigers, bears, leopards, and an entertaining circus show. Finish your day at Hupao Temple, where you can visit the memorial hall dedicated to Master Hongyi. This entire itinerary feels like a seamless journey through nature, culture, and charm—all starting from this quiet, welcoming homestay.

I recently stayed at HNBC Hotel & SPA (Hangzhou Xueyuan Road) and booked the single Jade Foot Therapy session for 3 hours—definitely one of the most relaxing spa experiences I’ve had. The 70-minute massage covered my shoulders, back, and feet with expert precision—the therapist’s technique was spot-on, offering just the right pressure to melt away tension. What stood out was the thoughtful service: the staff kindly arranged fresh fruit and drinks, and the quiet, serene atmosphere made it feel like a true retreat. Cleanliness was impressive—everything was spotless, even the scale had its battery replaced by the housekeeping team. From front desk to security and the spa team, every staff member greeted me warmly and with genuine hospitality. It’s rare to find such consistent attention to detail and kindness throughout a stay. This place isn’t just about comfort—it’s about care. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality wellness escape in Hangzhou.

This stay at Linquan Hotel in Hangzhou was absolutely exceptional—truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had recently. The cleanliness was outstanding; from the moment I stepped into the hallway with its fresh, subtle scent to the spotless room with not a single speck of dust, it was clear this place takes hygiene seriously. While the furnishings are on the older side and have a traditional charm rather than modern flair, that's part of its appeal—no gimmicks, no hidden fees, just genuine comfort. The heating unit was warm without drying out the air, which made all the difference during cooler evenings. We stayed in a twin room with two 1.5-meter beds—plenty of space, ideal for families. What truly stood out was the location: nestled by the river amidst quiet woods, completely removed from city noise and chaos. The staff were incredibly welcoming too—when they saw we were traveling with kids, they handed us three complimentary breakfast vouchers and even upgraded our room at no extra cost! This kind of thoughtful hospitality is rare. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and genuinely comfortable retreat near Hangzhou’s natural beauty, this hotel is a must-visit.

Staying at Yunshangxuan Jingshe (Hangzhou West Lake Branch) was an absolute delight. The location is ideal for exploring on foot or by bike—peaceful tree-lined streets, scenic tea fields, and a short ride to West Lake make it perfect for nature lovers. It’s also within walking distance of the zoo if you have extra time to spare. While the neighborhood has a tourist-friendly vibe with cozy little cafes, it’s far calmer than the crowded areas on the other side of the lake. The room itself was spotless, cozy, and well-designed with a charming touch—perfect for families. I especially loved the terrace with a picnic table, offering fresh air and a quiet spot to relax. The owners were incredibly attentive; they responded promptly to my WeChat messages with helpful tips about local attractions and dining options. From start to finish, the service, comfort, and atmosphere made this stay feel truly special. A standout choice in Hangzhou, and I’d definitely return.

I booked several hotels in Hangzhou for the National Day holiday, and this one truly stood out. The room was immaculately clean—despite being on the ground floor, it had a dehumidifier, which made sleeping incredibly comfortable and kept the air dry and fresh. The breakfast was fantastic: diverse options with handmade dumplings that were absolutely delicious, and I ended up eating multiple bowls of the silky tofu pudding. What impressed me most was the great value—prices were far more reasonable compared to other hotels I checked (some costing over $600 per night, yet still felt cramped and uncomfortable). Located just steps away from Hupao Park, the surroundings are peaceful and surrounded by nature. I’d definitely come back here on my next visit to Hangzhou and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, well-kept retreat with excellent comfort and local charm.

Absolutely loved my stay at this charming little gem! As a cat lover, I was instantly charmed by Xiaohei, the friendly black cat who greeted me with purrs and head bumps—so sweet and relaxed. The room design is beautifully minimalist with a wabi-sabi aesthetic, and the view from the window is stunning, especially when cherry blossoms drift gently outside. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and a great variety. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help or chat. It’s rare to find such a peaceful, authentic vibe with excellent value for money. Easy access to downtown via subway makes it even more convenient. This place truly feels like home away from home—definitely going back!

This was my third stay at this hotel, and every visit has been just as relaxing and satisfying as the last. The location is unbeatable—right next to Fahjing Temple and Fahjing Temple, with Lingyin Temple and Fajixi Temple just a short walk away. Surrounded by lush greenery and the calming scent of incense, the atmosphere feels incredibly peaceful and energetically clean. The staff, especially the concierge, are warm, attentive, and always ready to help—making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and tasty desserts. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully designed with a calm, modern aesthetic. It’s clear that attention to detail goes beyond just comfort—it’s about creating a truly restful retreat. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year.

Staying at Pins De La Brume Hotel in Hangzhou was an absolute delight. The moment I stepped into the courtyard, I was greeted by a peaceful serenity that instantly relaxed me. The room was immaculately clean and offered a stunning view of the distant mountain-top temple — serene and picturesque. The underfloor heating kept the room perfectly warm without being too hot, and the air purification system ran quietly, so it never disturbed my rest. Staff at the front desk and my personal concierge were incredibly attentive and thoughtful — they made sure every need was met with genuine care. During New Year’s holiday, when ride-sharing and buses were restricted near the scenic area, the hotel arranged a shuttle to drop us off right at the entrance, which was incredibly convenient. Everything was seamless and well-organized. This place isn’t just comfortable — it’s truly special. A perfect blend of tranquility, luxury, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning.

This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.
