The room itself was immaculate: spotless, with soft, comfortable bedding and a bathroom that smelled fresh and clean. Every detail was well-organized and meticulously maintained. Public areas like the lobby, corridors, and dining space were equally tidy and well-sanitized, giving me peace of mind. What stood out most was the serene atmosphere—peaceful and quiet, far removed from the city's hustle and bustle. It felt like a true retreat after a long day. Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside

The overall experience was excellent! Check-in was quick and smooth, and the room was spotless and comfortable. We happened to meet a staff member in the elevator who kindly handed an orange to my child—such a sweet little gesture that made the little one so happy. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just steps away from Tianjin Eye and easily accessible by public transit. The only downside was the parking wait time—there were even some tense moments between guests waiting for spots, so I hope they can improve the parking system. But despite that, the service, cleanliness, and value for money are outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tianjin—highly recommend this hotel!

Staying at Courtyard by Marriott Tianjin Hongqiao was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to Xibei Jiao District, where you’ll find a vibrant mix of local street food and authentic flavors. Wander just a bit further south, and you’ll hit another bustling shopping and dining street that never fails to delight. Whether you’re looking for snacks, souvenirs, or just a great vibe, this area has it all. I couldn’t stop exploring new spots every day—there’s always something fresh to discover. The hotel itself is quiet, clean, and well-located near public transit, making everything accessible without hassle. If you’re visiting Tianjin, this is the perfect base. I’d definitely come back here again—truly one of the best stays I’ve had in China.

Staying at Astor Plaza in Tianjin was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the scenic Haihe River and all the nearby attractions. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean with modern amenities that made the stay comfortable and convenient. What really stood out was the front desk staff—they were incredibly friendly and efficient. They upgraded my room without hesitation, which was such a nice surprise. Plus, having EV charging stations in the parking area is a huge plus for travelers with electric vehicles. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. This place offers exceptional value and service. Zhengxie Club Hotel

I’ve stayed here a few years ago and decided to return—glad I did. The location is fantastic: just steps away from Baojia Lou, Qishilin, and even the Bird’s Nest, with the Haihe River right behind the hotel. Morning walks along the riverbank are peaceful and scenic. The Chinese restaurant on-site serves solid meals, and I was pleasantly surprised by a small dumpling shop just around the corner—breakfast and lunch were both satisfying and surprisingly good value. A couple of minor drawbacks: some facilities feel dated, especially in the corners where the carpet could use a deeper clean. Also, the front desk requires copying my ID upon check-in—a practice I find unusual and concerning from a privacy standpoint, as I’ve never encountered it elsewhere. It’s worth reviewing whether this aligns with local regulations and security standards. Despite these points, the overall experience remains excellent. Great for convenience, charm, and comfort—definitely recommend for travelers who appreciate a quiet, central stay.

Jingfeng Apartment Hotel (Tianjin Xiaobailou Wudao Branch)

I booked this hotel in advance for the marathon in Tianjin, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I specifically picked a place close to both the start line and the half-marathon finish—perfect location! The hotel is right across from Xiaobailou, and it’s just a short walk from Exit C of the subway station. It took me under 25 minutes to reach the starting point by metro, which was incredibly convenient. The moment I stepped into my room, I was impressed—the view from the window overlooks the Haihe River, offering a peaceful and scenic backdrop. Staff were prompt in responding to messages and answered every question with care and clarity. Everything in the room was well-maintained: bedding, appliances, and amenities were all complete and clean. I felt completely at home. This is definitely a top-tier stay in Tianjin, and I’ll absolutely come back here on my next visit.
