White Swan Hotel

Staying in the executive suite was an absolute delight. The room was spacious with a clear separation between the living and sleeping areas, offering a real sense of privacy. Everything was brand new and well-maintained—especially the bathroom with its efficient dry-wet separation and instant hot water. The executive lounge served excellent afternoon tea and evening snacks, both in quality and presentation. Despite being near the airport, we could hear planes overhead while walking outside, but inside the room, it was completely silent thanks to outstanding soundproofing. The view from the window was wide open, and natural light filled the entire space—really bright and welcoming. Attention to detail was top-notch, and the value for money truly exceeded expectations. The hidden gem was the small garden behind the hotel—lush greenery, peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect for morning walks, post-lunch strolls, or relaxing in the evening. A small note: on our first morning, we had breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and asked what drinks we’d like, but then didn’t follow up with service. If they were busy, perhaps skipping the question would have made the experience smoother—just get the drinks to the table quickly instead. Overall, though, this stay was exceptional.

My stay was elevated by the exceptional service, especially from housekeeper Xiao Qian and the front desk team, who greeted me with genuine warmth and efficiency. What stood out most were the little touches that made a big difference: a diverse, fresh breakfast, late-night snacks that were still warm, and a comforting glass of milk before bed—simple but deeply thoughtful. The 24-hour gym, self-service laundry with drying facilities, and free parking were practical perks that added real value, especially for travelers with cars. Whether I needed help finding directions or printing documents, staff responded promptly and with a smile. Their professionalism and kindness created a sense of true hospitality—like being welcomed into a second home. This wasn’t just a place to sleep; it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. Staying at Hidden House Hotel was an absolute delight. The room was immaculate and warmly inviting—perfect for when the weather turned chilly in Guangdong. I slept like a baby thanks to excellent soundproofing, which is a huge win for light sleepers. While the space isn’t huge, the quality and attention to detail felt far beyond a standard hotel—certainly on par with, if not better than, some older five-star properties I’ve stayed at. The staff were attentive without being intrusive—always ready to help but never overbearing. The minimalist, elegant exterior blends seamlessly into the neighborhood, giving it a quiet, boutique vibe. Location-wise, it’s ideal if you’re relying on public transit—the Changgang Metro Station is just a short walk away, and you’re steps from Haizhu Square and major roads. If you're driving, navigating in and out of the residential area can be tricky, but the hotel does offer parking. I missed breakfast due to oversleeping, but my friend said it was delicious—definitely worth trying next time. Overall, this was one of the most satisfying stays I’ve had in Guangzhou. I’ll definitely be back.

Located just under 250 meters from the subway entrance, access to Line 2 and Line 11 is super convenient for getting around Guangzhou. While there are no smart devices or fancy tech features, the TV offers free access to regular channels without requiring a subscription, which is a nice touch. Staff were friendly and professional: greeted us at check-in, processed everything quickly, and even reminded us about breakfast time and the weather. It’s clear they care about guest comfort. For the price, this is excellent value. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Guangzhou again.
