The next morning, the restaurant manager even remembered us and proactively offered to prepare a special breakfast for our little one. That level of personal care truly touched me. Every staff member we encountered—from the security team and bell staff to the front desk and housekeeping managers—was polite, efficient, and went out of their way to help. The room managers, Li and Fan, responded instantly to any need, and the dining team led by Manager Wang Yan and Wu Li made sure every detail was perfect. Located just steps away from Old Gate Dong pedestrian street, and only a short walk to Confucius Temple and the Qinhuai River, there’s no shortage of local charm, food stalls, and cultural spots nearby. Public transit is super convenient too—everything is accessible without needing to rely on taxis. If I ever come back to Nanjing, this will be my top choice. It was crowded but full of energy, definitely worth checking out. The location is super convenient, just steps from the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. The location is perfect—just a 100-meter walk from the exit of Fuzimiao Metro Station, making it super convenient to explore nearby attractions like Fuzimiao, the Imperial Examination Museum, and the Gongyuan. The entire property exudes a charming old-style Republican-era vibe with thoughtful details everywhere. Staff are incredibly warm and welcoming—from complimentary fruit and face masks to free refills on mineral water, a little gift upon checkout, postcards, and even stamps! You can even stamp your own postcard with the hotel’s unique cultural design and send it off. It’s such a fun, memorable touch. I truly can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a hidden gem with exceptional value. Definitely planning to come back, and if there’s any discount available next time, that would be amazing!

The staff at the lobby were friendly and welcoming, and overall management seems well-organized. The only thing that could be improved is cleanliness—found a stray false eyelash on the sink, which was a bit of a surprise. Still, it’s a minor issue. Located just steps from Yuhua Men Metro Station, everything I wanted to see was within a 10-15 minute walk: Laomendong Ancient Street, Da Baoren Temple, and the Luozhou Park Lantern Festival were all super accessible. I booked the Courtyard King Room, and wow—the view from the window felt like having my own private garden. The room itself was beautifully designed with smart tech and high-end finishes, plus a complimentary mini-bar. The front desk even has a resident cat—adorable and so welcoming! The garden area is serene and perfect for sipping tea or just relaxing while watching the river and ancient city walls. Staff were incredibly warm and attentive—service that truly feels personal, almost like a five-star hotel. Free Song-style afternoon tea? Yes, please! And the late-night snack pack was a nice surprise—just a simple bowl of congee with pickled vegetables, comforting and satisfying. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding—full of authentic Nanjing flavors. The small duck oil sesame sugar bao was deliciously fragrant, the salted duck was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh egg pancake was healthy and scrumptious. Don’t miss the freshly ground black sesame paste—it’s rich, aromatic, and pure comfort. Every detail here screams quality and thoughtfulness. This place isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience.
