It’s such a peaceful spot just to sit, sip tea, and unwind. There’s a lovely cat named Mousse—a gorgeous Ragdoll who adds character and warmth to the space. On the second floor, there’s a shared area equipped with a fridge, cooking pots, a small teapot, and cute cups—perfect for preparing a light meal or enjoying a homey cup of tea. I especially loved the crisp white linens, plush mattress, and well-cushioned pillows—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Free drinks were replenished daily, which was a nice touch. The smart home system was a highlight—lighting and curtains could be controlled right from the bed, adding real convenience. Hotel New Otani Chang Fu Gong

We’ve made it a family tradition to ring in the New Year at this hotel every year, and it’s become one of our most cherished rituals. On New Year’s Eve, we enjoy a warm bowl of soba noodles at the second-floor Japanese restaurant — the atmosphere is cozy and festive. The next morning, we sip traditional tosukuri sake and savor a delightful Japanese breakfast before heading out on bikes to Jingshan Park to welcome the first rays of sunlight. This year, I was truly impressed by the improved service — the dining area has been upgraded with a fresh, modern touch, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
