Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo

Staying at Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo near Shimbashi was such a great experience. It’s just an 8-minute walk from the subway station, and since Shimbashi is so close to Ginza 8-chome, shopping and dining were incredibly convenient. The hotel itself has a classic feel with a well-maintained charm—rooms are spacious and feature Western-style layouts that make the space feel open and airy, which I really appreciated. For breakfast, I highly recommend going for the buffet option. It offers more variety and better value than the set Japanese meal, which felt a bit stingy in portion size (especially if you have a big appetite like me). Overall, this place strikes a perfect balance between comfort, location, and value—definitely a top pick for travelers looking for a reliable stay in central Tokyo.

Dai-Ichi Hotel Ryogoku

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed than the first time. The view from the room is absolutely stunning—right across the Tokyo Skytree’s nighttime lights, which made every evening feel magical. The room itself is surprisingly spacious for a Tokyo hotel, with excellent cleanliness and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is modern and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Located just minutes from major transit lines, it’s super convenient for exploring areas like Asakusa and Akihabara. For the price, this is one of the best values in central Tokyo—I’ll definitely be back.

remm Plus Ginza

Staying at remm Plus Ginza was a great experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located near Shinbashi Station, though it’s about a 5-6 minute walk — not too far, but definitely worth factoring in if you're short on time. It's also fairly close to Donki, which made grabbing essentials super easy. While it’s not right in the heart of Ginza, walking or taking public transit to the center takes roughly the same amount of time, so either way works fine. The real highlight? The bathroom — spacious with excellent separation between wet and dry areas, plus a large soaking tub that made every evening unwind truly relaxing. I especially appreciated the solid soundproofing; I didn’t hear any noise from neighbors or hallway, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Room size is modest, and two large suitcases fit with just enough room to spread out. Still, everything felt well-designed and functional. With great access to dining options around Yoyogi and Shinbashi stations, this place strikes a perfect balance between convenience and value. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and thoughtfully laid-out stay in Tokyo without breaking the bank, this is a strong choice.

Hotel Yae No Midori Tokyo

This hotel is absolutely top-tier in Tokyo! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the subway station, with a convenience store nearby and an amazing ramen shop right outside. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful—when I forgot my hair straightener, they offered a free loan at the lobby. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and not cramped at all. There’s even a smoking room, vending machines, and laundry facilities on-site. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this gem—it’s unbeatable value and definitely worth returning to.

Ginza Creston

Staying at Ginza Creston Hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The room was spacious enough to easily unpack my 30-inch suitcase, and the cleanliness was spot-on—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the exceptional service: I asked the front desk to hold my luggage early in the morning, and when I arrived around 9 PM, my bags were already delivered to my room—no waiting, no hassle. That kind of thoughtful gesture made a big difference. The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for capturing Tokyo’s skyline and the iconic Tokyo Tower, especially at night. My only minor complaint is the walk from the nearest station, which takes about 8 to 10 minutes. It can be tiring after visiting several attractions, but it’s manageable. All things considered, if you're looking for a great view, a comfortable stay, and good value without breaking the bank, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

remm Akihabara

The location is absolutely perfect—just a 1-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Tokyo. The room is compact but well-designed, with everything you need: a comfortable massage chair, a smart TV that lets me stream YouTube and Netflix, and a mini fridge. They even provide basic toiletries, toothbrush, toothpaste, and complimentary coffee—such a thoughtful touch! There’s a Lawson and FamilyMart right downstairs, so grabbing snacks or essentials is super easy. Everything you’d want for a quick, comfortable stay in the heart of Akihabara. I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m ever in the area again.

remm Hibiya

Staying at remm Hibiya was an absolute delight! The location is incredibly convenient—just a 3-minute walk to Hibiya Station, making it super easy to hop on the subway and explore all over Tokyo. I picked up a Tokyo Subway Ticket, which allowed me to travel freely across the city without any hassle. One thing I really appreciated was the luggage lockers in the lobby—they were perfect for storing my bags before check-in or after checkout. It made my trip so much smoother, especially when arriving early or leaving late. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-designed with thoughtful touches throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience felt seamless. If you're visiting Tokyo and want a great base with excellent transit access, this is definitely a top choice. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

remm Tokyo Kyobashi

This hotel is perfect for solo travelers! While the room is compact and doesn’t have a bathtub, it’s more than sufficient for one person. My 28-inch suitcase was a tight fit when packing, but everything still organized well. What stood out most was the quiet and safe neighborhood—walking around at night felt completely secure. Plus, there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so meal options are never an issue. The location is convenient for getting around Tokyo, with easy access to subway lines. Overall, it’s a great value for the price, clean, well-maintained, and ideal for a peaceful, hassle-free stay. I’d highly recommend this place if you're traveling alone and want a comfortable, low-stress base in central Tokyo.

The Peninsula Tokyo

Staying at The Peninsula Tokyo was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Ginza, with easy access to both JR and subway lines, making exploring the city effortless. The hotel’s design stays true to the Peninsula’s signature elegance: timeless, sophisticated, and quietly luxurious. While some areas show signs of age and could benefit from a refresh, the service remains consistently exceptional—attentive, discreet, and genuinely warm. I especially loved the bath amenities; the shower gel had a subtle, refreshing scent that made every moment in the bathroom feel like a little retreat. It’s clear this place still values the details that make a stay memorable. For anyone seeking a refined urban escape in Tokyo, this is a top-tier choice.

Shangri-La Tokyo

Staying at Shangri-La Tokyo was an absolute delight. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps from the subway station, making it easy to explore anywhere in Tokyo, even on rainy days. The direct link to Marui Department Store means shopping is effortless and comfortable. Taxis are readily available just outside the hotel entrance. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. One minor note: the view toward Mount Fuji is beautiful when the weather permits, but the train tracks nearby do produce some noise, even at higher floors. That said, it’s a small trade-off for such a prime location and exceptional service. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and value—definitely planning to return.

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi

Staying at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi for the second time, and I’m still completely in love with this place. It’s now my top choice in Tokyo — the service is thoughtful and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. This time, I upgraded to a Deluxe Suite on the highest floor, directly facing the Imperial Palace. The view is absolutely breathtaking: panoramic cityscapes during the day, and magical nighttime views from the bathtub right by the window. The bathroom is spacious and fully separate, with premium fittings and an incredible layout that makes every moment feel luxurious. Room service is available 24/7 — breakfast delivered to your room costs the same as dining in-house, but I’d still choose delivery for the convenience and the generous fruit platter. The hotel’s VITRU bar on the lobby level is ranked among Asia’s Top 50 — designed with inspiration from a renowned Parisian bar, it has a sophisticated French aesthetic, excellent cocktails, and surprisingly reasonable prices. Guests can walk in easily, no hassle. Location-wise, while it’s not right next to the subway station (it’s on top of Otemachi Station, owned by Mitsui), getting to Tokyo Station is just a quick ride, and Silver Street is within 10 minutes by taxi. Plus, Otemachi itself is incredibly well-connected — way more convenient than areas like Azabu. Even though the hotel has been open a few years, everything still feels brand new, clean, and impeccably maintained. No signs of wear, just top-tier quality throughout. If you want a quiet, elevated urban retreat in central Tokyo with unbeatable views and exceptional service, this is it.

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi

Staying at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi was an absolute delight. Right next to Tokyo Station, it’s just a short walk from the Marunouchi and Yaesu South exits—especially convenient if you’re arriving from the airport. We were a family of three, and instead of booking two separate rooms elsewhere, we opted for one room with an extra bed at the Four Seasons. It worked out perfectly—spacious, comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality. The doorman even greeted us with a friendly smile, and our little one was happily handed some chocolates and treats. Walking to Ginza took only about ten minutes—perfect for exploring on foot. My son was especially excited to visit Itoya stationery store, and we enjoyed strolling through the area without feeling rushed. Location, service, comfort, and attention to detail all hit top marks. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a memorable experience. Highly recommend for travelers who value quality and convenience.
