On departure day, we had a late afternoon flight, and I asked if we could extend checkout time. Front desk staff Xiao Huang saw we were traveling with an elder and kindly extended our check-out to 1:30 PM—so appreciative! This hotel offers great value, excellent service, and genuine care. That said, the motorized curtains are a huge plus; just press a button and you’re set. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk to the BRT station, and one stop gets you to the metro system, making travel around Xiamen super convenient. We've visited Gulangyu several times before, but this was our first time staying on the island—and what a difference it made! The hotel is housed in a beautifully preserved historic building with authentic charm. Our room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. What really stood out was the incredible value—price-wise, it's one of the best deals we've found here. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming; they even offered us fresh fruit and candies upon arrival—such a sweet touch. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with good-quality local flavors. Overall, the experience was exceptional. Lujiang Mega Hotel

Stayed at Lujiang Mega Hotel during New Year's in Xiamen and was completely blown away by the experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to Zhenzhu Bay Beach, perfect for families with kids who love digging in the sand and enjoying the sea breeze on a bike ride. The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—always smiling, ready to help, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and they even included a complimentary afternoon tea, which was such a nice surprise. The outdoor pool and dedicated family-friendly activity space made it ideal for both relaxation and fun. My kids had a blast, and I felt completely recharged. This hotel truly delivers on every level—comfort, convenience, and service. I’d absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Xiamen!

Staying at Seaview Resort Xiamen was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff, especially the personal care provided by the concierge. During New Year’s holiday, the hotel was nearly full with families traveling with kids, which made for some evening noise that even good soundproofing couldn’t fully block out—disrupted my sleep significantly. I also have a sensitive stomach, so lack of rest only worsened things, and I couldn’t handle heavy or greasy meals. That’s when the team stepped in with kindness: they proactively arranged a room transfer to the quieter Water Pavilion area, which made such a difference. To top it off, they brought me a warm bowl of soft, comforting congee with light side dishes right before bedtime. It wasn’t just food—it felt like care. I’ve never felt more looked after during a stay. This level of thoughtful service is rare, and it completely turned my experience around. I’ll definitely be returning.

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and flooded with natural light—waking up to the morning sun felt incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating. Janice, the staff member who assisted with check-in, was warm, professional, and incredibly efficient—no long queues or delays. Dinner at the fourth-floor riverside restaurant was a highlight: the ambiance was serene and romantic, with breathtaking views of the city lights across the water. The cuisine was authentic Fujian-style, beautifully prepared and full of flavor—every dish stood out. Breakfast was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of options from local favorites to international choices. The entire property felt quiet and well-maintained, creating a perfect retreat for relaxation. Whether it’s for a weekend getaway with friends or a peaceful escape, this hotel delivers comfort, charm, and excellent value. I’ll definitely be back.
