The view from the observation deck is absolutely stunning—finally, I got to witness the breathtaking sunrise on Jade Mountain, which was a dream come true. Even the restaurant offers panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks, making every meal feel special. The staff, especially our concierge Xiao Ming, went above and beyond—warm milk in the evening and pre-arranged tickets to nearby attractions were thoughtful touches that really made a difference. This isn’t just a stay; it’s a memorable retreat, and I’ll definitely be back.

This was my third visit to Lijiang, and once again I chose Xianyunxi Yuxueshan Garden Resort courtyard — and I couldn’t be happier. The wooden stilted houses have such a unique, authentic charm that instantly transports you into a peaceful mountain retreat. The rooms are cozy, well-appointed, and incredibly relaxing — just lying in bed, listening to the breeze and looking out at the snow-capped peaks, it feels like time slows down. The garden is beautifully designed with seasonal flowers and thoughtful landscaping, making every corner feel serene and inspiring. I didn’t do much during my stay — just lounging by the courtyard, sipping tea, and soaking in the views. It’s exactly the kind of escape I needed. The whole experience was so rejuvenating that I’m already planning my next trip. If you’re looking for a quiet, natural retreat with genuine comfort and stunning scenery, this place is perfect.

Jinmao Purelax Lijiang, The Unbound Collection By HYATT

This hidden gem truly delivers on both location and views! Nestled right next to Shuhe Ancient Town, it’s super convenient whether you’re arriving by train or driving—free parking is a big plus, and getting to Yulong Snow Mountain is just a short drive away. I loved relaxing on my private balcony with a cold brew in hand, soaking up the sun during the afternoon. The room’s soundproofing is excellent—completely quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. At night, I’d just sit outside, enjoy the gentle breeze, and gaze at the stars—so calming and magical. Special thanks to front desk staff Kathy, who was incredibly helpful and warm throughout our stay. Her attention to detail made all the difference. This place offers such a unique blend of comfort, tranquility, and authenticity. A must-visit if you're in Lijiang.

I came back late one evening and found my night snack waiting on the door with a comforting sweet soup—such a thoughtful touch that made me feel truly cared for. It’s rare to find such personal attention in a modern stay. The location is convenient too—just a short walk or ride into town, with plenty of local gems nearby.
