The staff, especially a young lady at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and attentive—she even proactively arranged a room facing the quiet courtyard, knowing we were concerned about sleep quality. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The hotel’s overall ambiance is calm and welcoming, located just steps away from Kunming Railway Station and Wanda Plaza, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast can get busy in the morning, so splitting the dining area into two smaller sections would help reduce crowding. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations—great value, top-notch service, and a peaceful stay. We’ll definitely be returning.

I've been in Yunnan for ten days and originally planned to book a Sheraton hotel, but it was too far from the city center. So I chose this Kunming Xueli Jinxi Hotel near Jinchang Temple Metro Station—and I couldn't be more delighted! The location is perfect: just 20 minutes by metro to the airport and another 20 minutes to the high-speed rail station. When we arrived at 10:30 PM, the front desk staff were incredibly professional—quick check-in, immediate luggage assistance, and even a little welcome gift. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and everything was brand new. The amenities, including the body lotion and shampoo, felt luxurious and high-quality. What stood out most was the daily complimentary soup—rich, nourishing, and delicious. We stayed two nights and loved every moment. After visiting Shangri-La, I actually plan to return to Kunming just to stay here again. The hotel also has a delivery robot—ordering food from outside was so convenient. And one thing I must mention: their facial tissues are seriously impressive. Thick, soft, and never tear or leave residue on your hands—something I’ve never experienced in many five-star hotels. The lobby is a stylish Instagram-worthy space with warm wooden tones and lush greenery that instantly calmed me after a long journey. I loved the 24-hour self-serve coffee station—perfect for a morning pick-me-up. My room was immaculate from top to bottom: soft, skin-friendly cotton linens, a Dreamland zero-gravity mattress that made sleeping so comfortable, and a spotless bathroom with excellent dry/wet separation. Noise isolation was impressive—once the window was closed, city sounds vanished completely. Combined with the air purification system, I slept like a baby all night. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful. Check-in was quick, and they even offered free room upgrades and shared insider tips on nearby attractions and local food spots. What truly stood out was the breakfast service ending at 1:30 PM—perfect for families like us who love a relaxed morning with kids. We were able to sleep in, then enjoy a delicious, high-quality breakfast without rushing. I was especially impressed by the smoked salmon—it was fresh, flavorful, and clearly top-notch. While the variety might not be the most extensive compared to other hotels I've stayed at, every item tasted great and was well-prepared. The overall atmosphere is elegant, the staff friendly, and the location convenient. For a stress-free, enjoyable stay in Kunming, this hotel delivers on every front. Highly recommended!

There are countless restaurants and street food stalls nearby—every time I step out, I end up picking up something delicious. The breakfast is my absolute favorite, especially the small pot rice noodles. They’re rich in flavor and so good I could eat them every day—way better than what you find on the street. The housekeeping staff even recognize me now—they’re always friendly and warm. What stands out most is how clean and well-maintained the rooms are. As someone who’s a bit particular about hygiene, this place feels like home. It’s not just comfortable—it’s truly relaxing.

Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient—just steps from the metro station, making travel to nearby attractions easy. There are plenty of dining spots, supermarkets, and even a pharmacy within walking distance, so all daily needs are covered. Parking is straightforward and well-managed. Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. The overall atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, blending comfort with practicality. For anyone visiting Kunming—whether for business or leisure—this hotel offers excellent value and a stress-free stay. I’d definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

Guandu Hotel

This stay at Guandu Hotel was an absolute delight! Even the hallway had a subtle, refreshing fragrance that added to the calming atmosphere. The lobby is beautifully designed, quiet and elegant, with a spacious view from the windows. Staff were incredibly warm and attentive—from quick check-in to prompt responses to any request. They even offered to carry luggage and shared great local dining tips. Room amenities were top-notch: high-quality toiletries, a perfectly balanced mattress, and excellent air conditioning that kept the room comfortable year-round. Everything about this hotel feels thoughtfully curated. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next trip to Kunming. A truly memorable experience!

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Kunming, making it easy to explore the city by metro or on foot. The lobby area is spacious and cozy, offering a relaxing welcome. With three separate elevators, there’s never a wait—such a small but smart touch. The room itself is fully smart-enabled, allowing me to control lighting, temperature, and other features via my phone—very convenient and modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with both soft and firm pillows available to suit different preferences. The bathroom stood out with its clean, spacious layout and full separation between wet and dry areas. The bath products smelled fresh and calming, helping me unwind after a long day. The fitness center is impressively large, with space for both cardio and yoga sessions, plus essentials like first-aid kits and towels—great attention to detail. There’s also a self-service laundry room with dryers, which is super handy for longer stays. Breakfast was a highlight—abundant, diverse, and included local specialties that added a nice cultural touch. The staff truly went above and beyond; especially the front desk manager, Xiao Jing, who showed incredible care and warmth. She even prepared a breakfast pack for me when I left early for the airport—such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, comfort, and service. If I’m ever back in Kunming with friends, this will be my top pick without hesitation.
