For lunch, we dined at 1913 Restaurant—the signature West Lake Fish in Vinegar Sauce was outstanding, balanced and authentic. Our photographer from Xiao Wan Photography, Xiao Guo, was professional and passionate; my sister loved every single shot of her in traditional cheongsam. And then there’s Chen Bo, a true local with deep knowledge of Hangzhou’s history—he brought stories to life with warmth and humor. Despite its compact size, the hotel is full of hidden gems: every corner feels like a page from history, perfect for photos and quiet exploration. This staycation was pure bliss.
