The Anandi Hotel and Spa Shanghai

Staying at The Anandi Hotel and Spa Shanghai was an absolute delight—the comfort and attention to detail in the room made it feel like a true retreat. Every holiday season brings a fresh theme, so each visit feels unique and special. This time around, we added a photo shoot experience, and the results were stunning—perfect for memories and sharing online! It was my first Christmas here, and the festive dinner paired with live performances created such a magical atmosphere. The outdoor market added charm, though I didn’t win anything (still had fun!), but I’d love to see a small souvenir or gift included as a token of the stay. Overall, the experience exceeded expectations—luxurious, thoughtful, and unforgettable. Definitely planning to come back.

The St. Regis Shanghai Jingan

The atmosphere here is truly impressive—every detail, from the grand chandeliers to the elegant tableware, exudes sophistication and thoughtfulness. The room itself is spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a plush bed and sofa that made it hard to leave. The bathtub is generously sized, perfect for soaking while enjoying the stunning city views at night—pure relaxation. Staff service stands out in every way: friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead. From the moment we arrived, the concierge helped with luggage promptly, and check-in was smooth and efficient. Our personal butler, Peggy, was incredibly responsive—any request, big or small, was handled instantly. The 55th-floor lounge offers serene ambiance and breathtaking panoramic views. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner there—the menu is diverse and delicious, so much so that I could easily eat five meals a day without getting tired of it! This place delivers on luxury, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. A must-stay if you're looking for an unforgettable experience.

The Kunlun Jing An

Staying at The Kunlun Jing An in Shanghai was an absolute highlight, especially since we needed a quiet hotel close to the exam venue for my child. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the testing center and well-connected by metro. We requested a quiet room in advance, and the hotel not only accommodated it but exceeded expectations with total attention to detail. The room was peaceful, spotless, and cleaned promptly each day. The housekeeping staff were warm, attentive, and always checking in to see if we needed anything—truly personalized service. One of the standout experiences was the 38th-floor lounge: breathtaking views, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service. Their afternoon tea was delicious, making it perfect for relaxing or even informal business meetings. Every aspect of this stay felt thoughtfully curated. Amara Shanghai

Even though I was in Shanghai, staying here felt like being in Miami—luxurious, stylish, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. I stayed on the 25th floor, and the room was huge with excellent natural light. The sunlight streamed in every morning, making the space warm and inviting. The view? Absolutely top-tier—perfect mix of urban sophistication and quiet elegance. The bathtub alone is a dream; so relaxing and spa-like. The gym and dining areas have that refined, high-end vibe with great attention to detail. Breakfast was incredibly diverse and delicious—plenty of options to satisfy any craving. Staff were genuinely kind, patient, and attentive—rare to find such warmth and professionalism. I’m quite particular about cleanliness, so I appreciated it when Ling Auntie went the extra mile to check and refresh my room—super thoughtful and spotless. And the lobby? Full of Christmas charm. I just sat there with a coffee, soaking in the calm, letting time slow down. This hotel delivers beyond expectations—perfect blend of comfort, style, and hospitality. A must-stay if you're in Shanghai.

Shanghai Miller Villa Hotel

Staying at Shanghai Miller Villa Hotel felt like stepping into a fairy tale—rich in history and charm from the moment you walk in. The exterior might not scream 'new and flashy,' but inside, everything has that timeless elegance of old-money quality—the bedding was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. Even small details like the hairdryer, flooring, and seating had a refined, classic touch. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the short castle tour offered surprising insights and fun facts. The PuLi Hotel and Spa

My first trip to Shanghai this year was absolutely perfect, thanks to the recommendation from a friend who insisted I stay at The PuLi Hotel and Spa. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place was special. The location is unbeatable—everything from the Bund to Nanjing Road and even Disneyland is just minutes away by subway or taxi. The French restaurant on the second floor is exceptional—elegant, delicious, and worth every penny, especially for a romantic dinner or a memorable celebration. Kevin from the concierge team went above and beyond, suggesting some amazing local Shanghainese eateries that were both authentic and affordable—definitely a highlight of the trip. Belle from the guest relations team gave us a warm, personalized tour of the hotel, sharing fascinating details about its design and amenities. It felt less like checking in and more like being welcomed into a home. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and every detail exuded sophistication. If you're looking for a luxurious yet genuinely welcoming stay in Shanghai, this is it—10/10, would book again in a heartbeat.

Radisson Collection Hotel,Xing Guo Shanghai

I’ve passed by this hotel countless times while commuting, always dreaming of staying here—and finally made it happen. The moment I stepped into the grand lobby with its soaring ceiling and dazzling crystal chandelier, I knew this was going to be special. The property sits on nearly 60,000 square meters of private garden, making it feel like a hidden European estate right in the heart of bustling Shanghai. From the very first greeting, the service was exceptional—Esther from front desk went above and beyond: upgraded our room, offered a two-hour late check-out without hesitation, and even shared her WeChat for easy communication. That kind of personal touch is rare. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—huge variety, beautifully presented. From freshly steamed dim sum and handmade noodles to a wide selection of breads, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, and even ice cream, every detail was thoughtfully curated. But what truly stole the show was the garden. Lush green lawns, mature trees casting dappled sunlight, historic buildings nestled among foliage—perfect for quiet strolls or Instagram-worthy shots. Every corner feels like a scene from a film. The pool is clean and refreshingly salty—almost like swimming in the sea! Plus, there are two hot tubs nearby, perfect for unwinding. The changing rooms are spacious, with full amenities including a sauna, steam room, and even a lounge area with TV where you can just lie back and relax. This might be the most comfortable five-star experience I’ve ever had. Security staff were friendly and attentive throughout, adding to that welcoming, home-away-from-home feeling. It was an unforgettable New Year’s getaway—serene, elegant, and utterly luxurious.
