Every staff member—from check-in to housekeeping to breakfast attendants—was warm, professional, and attentive. The breakfast spread was impressive: diverse, freshly prepared, and delicious. It’s rare to find such consistent quality across all aspects of a stay. If I’m ever back in Nanjing, this will be my first choice again. A truly memorable experience.

This trip was for a friend’s birthday, and we took the chance to explore the stunning maple leaves at Qixia Mountain, golden ginkgo trees by Xuanwu Lake, Yanyue Lake, Stone Elephant Road, and the famous plane tree avenue. Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.
