We booked three rooms for our family trip, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel staff went above and beyond—our rooms were upgraded for free, which was a wonderful surprise. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows provided exceptional comfort, making for a restful night’s sleep. One minor issue was that the fabric sofa in the room looked a bit worn and needed cleaning. On one occasion, the housekeeping staff seemed slightly impatient when helping with a light fixture issue, but this didn’t overshadow the great service we received elsewhere. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and always eager to help. We loved how close the hotel is to the metro station—just a short walk away—and right across the street is a large shopping mall, perfect for dining and browsing. Unfortunately, we were too tired after late-night outings to try out the pool or gym, but we’ll definitely make time next visit. If you’re planning a trip to Shanghai, I’d highly recommend Ocean Hotel Shanghai—it’s convenient, comfortable, and offers fantastic value.

Atour Hotel Changyang Road North Bund Shanghai

Staying at the Atour Hotel in North Bund was a fantastic choice for my trip to Shanghai. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Raffle Mall and easily accessible via subway, making it convenient for exploring the area. Unlike the crowded Bund, North Bund offers a more relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views, ideal for photography without the crowds. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and excellent service. Even though the price isn’t cheap, the overall experience absolutely justifies it. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Crystal Orange Hotel Shanghai North Bund

Coming to Shanghai for New Year's Eve? This is hands down my top choice! After carefully selecting a place to stay, I’m so glad I picked this hotel—it absolutely lived up to expectations. The front desk staff are available 24/7 and couldn’t be more helpful—any request was handled promptly. They were incredibly warm and even recommended the best spots along North Bund for the New Year’s celebration. To my surprise, they upgraded my room at no extra cost and sent a friendly check-in reminder with tips. The lobby design is stunning—sleek and sophisticated with a cozy fireplace that made for an Instagram-worthy backdrop. The in-room projector was perfect for capturing our New Year’s countdown moment. Cleanliness was outstanding—every corner was spotless, making it ideal for photoshoots or just relaxing in comfort. It’s not just about the location or views; it’s the thoughtful touches that make this stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Shanghai, especially during festive seasons.

Shanghai Prodor Hotel

Stayed at Shanghai Prodor Hotel and was absolutely impressed! The facilities are brand new and incredibly well-designed—way more modern and stylish than the older luxury hotels near the Bund. The room was spotless, and the overall environment was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The view of the river is stunning—breathtaking, especially in the morning light. Staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive; they even delivered our takeout right to our door with no hassle. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile. This place offers an unbeatable combination of comfort, ambiance, and service. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.
