This was my first time staying at Homeinn Selected, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations—especially coming from a more familiar chain. The room itself is clean and well-maintained, though I noticed there’s no makeup mirror or full-length mirror, which made getting ready a bit tricky. Not sure if this applies to all rooms, but it’s something worth mentioning. The QR code on the nightstand for free amenities didn’t work after submission—was a bit disappointing—but the robot delivery service made up for it! It was fun watching the little bot bring up snacks and toiletries. Water pressure from the showerhead is on the weak side, so you’ll need to wait a few seconds for it to build up. Still, it’s manageable. The location is fantastic—just a 10-15 minute walk to Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen Botanical Garden. If you’re not in the mood to walk, taxis or shared bikes are super easy to find nearby. While other attractions are a bit farther, the hotel’s convenience and staff attitude really stand out. The front desk team was friendly and helpful throughout, making the stay feel welcoming. Overall, a great value experience—definitely worth returning.

Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and the housekeeping team really went the extra mile; every evening, the room felt freshly tidied with thoughtful little touches. It's about a 10–15 minute walk to Haicang Bay Park Metro Station, which is manageable, especially since the route is quiet and safe. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, great comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again.

The front desk staff were incredibly professional and warm—they went out of their way to help with every request. Breakfast was fantastic: abundant, fresh, and varied, served from 7 to 10 AM. What stood out was how thoughtful the service was—around 9:30, staff gently started clearing tables even if guests were still eating, giving a polite heads-up that the dining window was ending soon. It felt respectful, not pushy. I also appreciated the dedicated travel concierge desk—staff were eager to assist, offering personalized recommendations for local spots, hidden gems, and must-visit cafes without ever seeming impatient. Their enthusiasm made a big difference. Overall, the comfort, convenience, and genuine care here made this stay unforgettable. I’ll definitely come back when I return to Xiamen.

The hotel is located right next to a cozy little coffee shop called Blues—perfect for a relaxed afternoon or evening drink after a long day. And if you’re into seafood, don’t miss nearby A-Zhong Seafood Restaurant. Just step off the train and head straight there for a delicious bowl of oyster rice. Plus, the area is packed with great food options and everyday conveniences. If I ever come back to Xiamen for work, this will be my top choice again. Highly recommend!
