The restaurant on the 7th floor serves one of the best beer fish dishes I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. Even the housekeeping staff stood out with their friendly greetings: 'Back from exploring?' or 'Enjoying your day?'—small gestures that made the stay feel personal and welcoming. It was a chilly time in Guilin, but the genuine warmth of the team made all the difference. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Shangri-La Guilin

Staying at Shangri-La Guilin was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our guest host Emily went above and beyond—she reached out in advance to learn about our preferences and even prepared thoughtful little amenities for our child. The housekeeping staff, Jongche, was incredibly attentive, personally escorting us to our room and giving a detailed walk-through of the hotel’s facilities with genuine warmth. The room itself beautifully blends modern comfort with traditional northern Guangxi charm—our bed was so cozy we slept like babies all night. But the real highlight? The evening view: as dusk fell, the river lights gently lit up the scene outside our window, turning the Li River into a shimmering canvas. Absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, delicious quality—and the local beer fish at the Chinese restaurant was authentic and mouthwatering. Pool attendant Tang Jundong was patient and welcoming, guiding us straight to the pool area with a smile. Every touch felt personal, every service thoughtful. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

Lijiang Waterfall Hotel

Staying at Lijiang Waterfall Hotel in Guilin was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials—comfortable bed, modern amenities, and a nice view. Breakfast started early at 6:30 AM, which was perfect for those of us planning to hit the city early. It was abundant and offered a good mix of local and international options. The evening waterfall show was breathtaking—colorful lights dancing with water, creating a magical atmosphere. I was also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary osmanthus cake delivered to my room—a sweet little touch that added charm to the stay. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Mei, was incredibly helpful and professional. She answered every question about parking, dining, and nearby attractions clearly and efficiently, showing real dedication to guest satisfaction. From start to finish, this hotel exceeded expectations. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Guilin.
