A few suggestions for improvement: the afternoon tea selection was limited, and the fruit—especially the watermelon—wasn’t very fresh. Dinner options were also quite narrow. The room stayed chilly despite running the heater all night—temperature barely reached 15°C, so adding a heating option would be helpful. Also, breakfast was missing some items, and they weren’t replenished promptly. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The staff responded quickly to feedback, and the views from the room were stunning—especially sunrise in the morning. One small disappointment: no capsule or instant coffee available, which is common even in budget hotels. Adding that would make the stay much more convenient for guests who rely on coffee.

The lobby manager was exceptional—prompt, helpful, and made sure all my questions were answered quickly and efficiently. The hotel is beautifully situated right in the middle of a park, which made morning runs absolutely delightful. I was amazed by how passionate locals are about jogging—there were people everywhere, creating such an energetic vibe. Just behind the hotel is a charming pigeon plaza where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. My lake-view room had an incredible panorama—every time I opened the curtains, it felt like nature was right outside my window. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place offers a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended!

The service here truly stands out—friendly, responsive, and genuinely attentive. I reached out to the hotel manager, Mr. Cai, with a few questions, and he got back to me quickly with helpful solutions. The suite offered a great mix of city and sea views, spacious layout with two bathrooms, which was super convenient for groups or families. While there’s no bathtub, the rest of the amenities are well thought out, including a mahjong machine—perfect for some fun evenings. Breakfast was standard but satisfying. What really made this stay special was the warm hospitality and personal touch. If you value excellent service and a comfortable, well-designed space, this is a top choice. Definitely planning to return.

Swiss Grand Xiamen

My stay at Swiss Grand Xiamen was truly exceptional. The room service stood out—especially the dedication and attentiveness of Ms. Geng Hongyan, the guest services supervisor. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being, making us feel genuinely valued. The only minor concern was the deposit requirement: a RMB 1,000 refundable deposit was requested by the hotel, which is higher than the room rate itself, plus an additional payment through the booking platform. While this did feel a bit steep upfront, it’s worth noting that the overall experience far outweighs this small inconvenience. From the elegant rooms and thoughtful amenities to the professional yet warm staff, every detail reflects high standards. If you’re looking for a luxurious and personalized stay in Xiamen, this hotel delivers. I’d absolutely return and recommend it without hesitation.
