Staying at Revolver Hostel was a great experience—my second time in a hostel, and this one definitely stands out. Located right in the heart of Glasgow, it’s super convenient for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. I was tired from a long day of sightseeing, but even with evening music events, I still managed to sleep well—great soundproofing in the rooms. The elevator is a real plus, especially when carrying luggage up and down. Clean, friendly staff, and a vibrant atmosphere without being too noisy. Overall, an excellent value for money option in a fantastic location. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience.
Arriving at Travelodge Glasgow after a disappointing stay in Edinburgh felt like stepping into a breath of fresh air. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful—despite my poor memory, every team member stood out for their outstanding customer care. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and generously stocked with coffee to keep us going. We had our best night’s sleep in days, which made all the difference after a rough few nights. This place truly feels like a five-star experience, especially in terms of hospitality. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Glasgow. Huge thanks to everyone working the first and second shifts on June 1st—I wish I could remember your names, but you’ve all been exceptional. And yes, the hotel smells wonderful too—such a small detail that makes a big impact.
Staying at the Brunswick Merchant City Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the train station and surrounded by vibrant street art that’s perfect for casual photo ops. Most of Glasgow’s top attractions are within a 10-minute stroll, making it ideal for exploring on foot. The room was spacious and well-designed, with a clean, modern bathroom that added to the comfort. Breakfast was a real highlight—plenty of options, fresh ingredients, and a great mix of local flavors. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully put together. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Glasgow.
Staying at Euro Hostel Glasgow was a fantastic experience—perfectly located just steps away from the central station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The hostel is clean, well-maintained, and offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I loved how quiet and comfortable the rooms were, even though it’s a budget-friendly option. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to offer tips on local attractions or transport. It’s a great value for money, especially if you're traveling solo or on a tight budget. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow.
Absolutely worth every penny! We stayed here during a business trip with our kids for a long weekend, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always thinking ahead. They even helped keep the kids entertained when we were swamped with work, which felt like having a personal concierge. The spa is a real highlight: spacious, beautifully renovated a few years ago, and free for guests twice daily—perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety, generous portions, and if you asked for something off-menu (within reason), they’d happily cook it fresh. Dinner was also impressive, with elegant plating and a Michelin-inspired touch, though the portion sizes were on the larger side—left us full but not quite satisfied in terms of hunger. Still, the quality and experience were top-notch. Whether you're traveling for work or family fun, this hotel delivers an unforgettable stay.
I'm a big fan of Virgin Hotels and have stayed at both the Glasgow and Edinburgh locations. While Glasgow's property feels more modern in terms of structure, the room design still stands out as uniquely clever—some of the smartest layouts I've seen in any hotel right now. The entire stay was enjoyable from start to finish, with great attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. I truly hope Virgin continues expanding across Europe—London would be an obvious next step, and even warmer destinations like Barcelona could be a fantastic fit. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant in Glasgow this time, but I did enjoy the Commons Club in Edinburgh—it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re there.
The service was excellent—friendly and helpful staff from check-in onward. I asked about the pool location near my room, and a staff member kindly walked me downstairs to show me where it was. It’s actually tucked away and not easy to find without guidance! The parking entrance is at the back of the main building, with plenty of space—no stress finding a spot. Best of all, the hotel’s location is unbeatable: everything—from top attractions and restaurants to shopping centers—is just a short walk away. No need for taxis or public transit. Perfect for travelers who want convenience and comfort in one place. Highly recommend!
This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The building has a timeless charm with a touch of vintage elegance, but the interior design is modern and beautifully crafted—especially the staircase area, which makes for an amazing photo spot. Located right next to Central Station, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around Glasgow, yet the rooms are so quiet when the windows are closed that you’d never know you’re in the middle of a busy transit hub. It’s peaceful, stylish, and offers incredible value—definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in the city. Would book again without hesitation.
Staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow was an excellent experience overall. The hotel is immaculately clean and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Its location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the train station, making it ideal for travelers like me attending a charity ball and needing an overnight stay. The dinner served at the event was delicious, and the staff were attentive and professional. However, the ballroom remained quite cold throughout the evening, even after dancing started, which made it uncomfortable despite the lively atmosphere. That said, the rooms were outstanding—very comfortable, quiet, and perfect for relaxing after a long day in the city center. I especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance despite being right in the heart of Glasgow. The breakfast buffet was a highlight too, offering a great variety and high-quality food. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and convenience, and I’d definitely recommend it.
Staying at The Social Hub Glasgow was an absolute highlight of my trip to Glasgow! The room was surprisingly spacious and incredibly quiet—perfect for a restful night's sleep. I was impressed by the breakfast spread: fresh pastries, hot dishes, fruit, and juice made it a delightful start to the day. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always ready to help with recommendations or travel tips. The location is fantastic—just steps away from the subway station, making it super easy to explore the city. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel offers great value and comfort. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow.
Staying at Clayton Hotel Glasgow City was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully situated right by the river, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—they even escorted me to the elevator, which made a great first impression. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options ranging from classic English breakfasts to continental treats. Best of all, the hotel is steps away from the bustling shopping district—perfect for dining out, browsing local stores, or just soaking up the city vibe. With its unbeatable location, excellent service, and fantastic value, I’ll definitely be returning the next time I visit Glasgow.
Staying at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the train station, and right across the street is a Lidl supermarket where I picked up fresh juice, milk, bread, and snacks for a quick breakfast. I was assigned room 908, which had an incredible view of the river and bridge—especially stunning at sunset when the sky turned golden. The room itself was well-equipped with a fridge for storing drinks and essentials, making it super convenient. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and ease. If you're visiting Glasgow, don’t miss this gem—it’s worth every penny.
