DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central

The service was excellent—friendly and helpful staff from check-in onward. I asked about the pool location near my room, and a staff member kindly walked me downstairs to show me where it was. It’s actually tucked away and not easy to find without guidance! The parking entrance is at the back of the main building, with plenty of space—no stress finding a spot. Best of all, the hotel’s location is unbeatable: everything—from top attractions and restaurants to shopping centers—is just a short walk away. No need for taxis or public transit. Perfect for travelers who want convenience and comfort in one place. Highly recommend!

Clayton Hotel Glasgow City

Staying at Clayton Hotel Glasgow City was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully situated right by the river, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—they even escorted me to the elevator, which made a great first impression. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options ranging from classic English breakfasts to continental treats. Best of all, the hotel is steps away from the bustling shopping district—perfect for dining out, browsing local stores, or just soaking up the city vibe. With its unbeatable location, excellent service, and fantastic value, I’ll definitely be returning the next time I visit Glasgow.

Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow

Staying at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the train station, and right across the street is a Lidl supermarket where I picked up fresh juice, milk, bread, and snacks for a quick breakfast. I was assigned room 908, which had an incredible view of the river and bridge—especially stunning at sunset when the sky turned golden. The room itself was well-equipped with a fridge for storing drinks and essentials, making it super convenient. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and ease. If you're visiting Glasgow, don’t miss this gem—it’s worth every penny.

Citizenm Glasgow

Staying at CitizenM Glasgow was an absolute delight—far beyond what I expected. The room was spacious and immaculately clean, with the bathroom standing out for its modern design and accessibility features. Everything felt brand new, from the furniture to the tech gadgets. I loved using the tablet to control the lighting throughout the room—it’s sleek, intuitive, and adds a real futuristic touch. Check-in and check-out were fully self-service, which saved so much time, but there was always a friendly staff member nearby if needed. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the city center and well-connected by subway. It’s not just convenient, it’s a great value for money. If you’re visiting Glasgow, this hotel should be at the top of your list.

Ibis Styles Glasgow Centre George Square

My stay at Ibis Styles Glasgow Centre George Square was absolutely excellent—comfortable, convenient, and highly recommendable. The room was spacious with a great shower, and everything in the room felt well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. Its location is perfect: just a short walk from the train station and right next to the bustling market and shopping area, making it easy to explore the city on foot. One standout feature? The on-site dining is open until 3 AM—perfect for late arrivals like us. We checked in quite late and still enjoyed a warm meal, which made the whole experience much more relaxing. The staff were incredibly efficient, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit—they went the extra mile without being asked. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Overall, this hotel delivered on every front: comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I’d definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow.

Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa

Absolutely worth every penny! We stayed here during a business trip with our kids for a long weekend, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always thinking ahead. They even helped keep the kids entertained when we were swamped with work, which felt like having a personal concierge. The spa is a real highlight: spacious, beautifully renovated a few years ago, and free for guests twice daily—perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety, generous portions, and if you asked for something off-menu (within reason), they’d happily cook it fresh. Dinner was also impressive, with elegant plating and a Michelin-inspired touch, though the portion sizes were on the larger side—left us full but not quite satisfied in terms of hunger. Still, the quality and experience were top-notch. Whether you're traveling for work or family fun, this hotel delivers an unforgettable stay.

Virgin Hotels Glasgow

I'm a big fan of Virgin Hotels and have stayed at both the Glasgow and Edinburgh locations. While Glasgow's property feels more modern in terms of structure, the room design still stands out as uniquely clever—some of the smartest layouts I've seen in any hotel right now. The entire stay was enjoyable from start to finish, with great attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. I truly hope Virgin continues expanding across Europe—London would be an obvious next step, and even warmer destinations like Barcelona could be a fantastic fit. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant in Glasgow this time, but I did enjoy the Commons Club in Edinburgh—it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re there.

voco Grand Central Glasgow

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The building has a timeless charm with a touch of vintage elegance, but the interior design is modern and beautifully crafted—especially the staircase area, which makes for an amazing photo spot. Located right next to Central Station, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around Glasgow, yet the rooms are so quiet when the windows are closed that you’d never know you’re in the middle of a busy transit hub. It’s peaceful, stylish, and offers incredible value—definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in the city. Would book again without hesitation.

Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow

Staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow was an excellent experience overall. The hotel is immaculately clean and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Its location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the train station, making it ideal for travelers like me attending a charity ball and needing an overnight stay. The dinner served at the event was delicious, and the staff were attentive and professional. However, the ballroom remained quite cold throughout the evening, even after dancing started, which made it uncomfortable despite the lively atmosphere. That said, the rooms were outstanding—very comfortable, quiet, and perfect for relaxing after a long day in the city center. I especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance despite being right in the heart of Glasgow. The breakfast buffet was a highlight too, offering a great variety and high-quality food. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and convenience, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always ready to help with recommendations or travel tips. The location is fantastic—just steps away from the subway station, making it super easy to explore the city. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel offers great value and comfort. Aparthotel Adagio Glasgow Central

Staying at Aparthotel Adagio Glasgow Central was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—right in front of Buchanan Street and the St. Enoch shopping district, making it super easy to explore the city on foot. Glasgow Central Station is just an 8-minute walk away, and the underground station at St. Enoch is literally a 2-minute stroll—perfect for getting around without hassle. Nearby, you’ll find Tesco and Lindl supermarkets within a 2–3 minute walk, so stocking up on groceries for a self-catering meal is a breeze. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchenette including a microwave, kettle, and diningware—ideal for preparing quick meals. There’s also a laundry room with washing and drying machines (pay-per-use at £3 each), which is convenient if you’re staying longer. The rooms are brand new and match the photos exactly—clean, modern, and well-maintained. One of the highlights? The nearby riverbank walk, just one block away—peaceful and scenic, perfect for a morning or evening stroll. While there are pubs close by, we had no noise issues thanks to double-glazed windows and the air conditioning. We were a group of four—one couple slept in the bedroom, the other two on the sofa bed in the living area—and space wasn’t an issue at all. Comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and a great central base in Glasgow.

Holiday Inn Glasgow - City Ctr Theatreland

I was pleasantly surprised by the Holiday Inn Glasgow - City Ctr Theatreland—right in the heart of the city and incredibly convenient for exploring. I stayed here with a colleague during a work trip, and since our original hotel was fully booked, we were redirected to this one through the platform. The location is fantastic—steps away from theatres, restaurants, and public transit. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a great bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering local tips upon check-in. It’s rare to find such a well-located, high-quality hotel at this price point. I’d definitely recommend it—and will be booking again on my next visit to Glasgow.
