The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum, and surrounded by fantastic local restaurants with delicious food. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive; when I arrived with luggage, one of the front desk ladies immediately offered to carry my bags up to my room—such a thoughtful touch. All the bathroom amenities are high-quality brands, hot water flows strong, and the heating system kept the room cozy throughout my stay. The room has its own air conditioning that works quietly and efficiently without disturbing me at all—perfect for getting good rest. Everything in the room feels modern and well-designed, with smart features that make life easier. Cleanliness is top-notch, and the minimalist interior design gives a calm, refreshing vibe. From start to finish, the service was genuinely exceptional—every detail shows they care about guest comfort. It’s rare to find such a great balance between convenience, quality, and value. I’ll definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next visit to Ürümqi.

Staying at Atour Hotel (Urumqi Government Nanhu Citizen Square Branch) was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was spotless and meticulously clean, with incredibly comfortable pillows—so good that I actually considered buying one to take home! The staff went above and beyond; we arrived late at 3 a.m., but the team greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. Every time we passed the front desk, they’d kindly offer a cup of tea—small gestures that truly made the stay special. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short drive from the airport, and easy access to downtown attractions via public transit or taxi. Excellent value for money and highly recommended for anyone visiting Urumqi.

I always stay at Madison when visiting Urumqi, and it never disappoints. The hotel is beautifully maintained with a peaceful atmosphere. The staff went the extra mile by upgrading me to a corner room on the 21st floor—huge windows on two sides, letting in incredible natural light and offering panoramic views of the city skyline and distant mountains. It’s also incredibly convenient with the expressway right nearby, making travel to downtown or other destinations a breeze. From comfort to location, this place ticks all the boxes. A top pick for any trip to Urumqi.
