The room was spacious and bright, with a seamless smart control system that made everything effortless. As someone who travels frequently for work, the ergonomic chair and LED reading lights were a game-changer—perfect for unwinding after long flights. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, instantly melting away any travel fatigue. Hot water in the bathroom came on instantly, and the toiletries were from the lovely Petrov brand—subtle fragrance, high quality, and such a nice touch. The fitness center is well-equipped, and I appreciated the free self-service laundry area. Even the delivery robot added a fun, futuristic vibe to the stay. Breakfast at the third-floor dining hall was an absolute highlight—the space features a unique Tulou-inspired design, and the breakfast spread was impressive: endless options, including local favorites like Sha Cha Noodles and coconut cakes, all fresh, tasty, and satisfying. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I felt welcomed. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and super efficient—check-in and check-out were quick, and they went the extra mile to answer questions about nearby attractions and transit. When I had a last-minute request during my stay, a team member promptly stepped in without hesitation. Even after checking out, I received a thoughtful follow-up message—plus, getting a missing invoice processed across cities was handled smoothly and fast. That level of care truly makes you feel valued. Despite being nestled in a quiet residential area, the hotel remained peaceful and undisturbed by noise. The interior design cleverly blends Fujian Tulou architectural elements with modern elegance—every public space is immaculate, clean, and airy, with no lingering odors. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to the metro station, making access to major sights and shopping districts effortless. Lujiang Mega Hotel

Stayed at Lujiang Mega Hotel during New Year's in Xiamen and was completely blown away by the experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to Zhenzhu Bay Beach, perfect for families with kids who love digging in the sand and enjoying the sea breeze on a bike ride. The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—always smiling, ready to help, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and they even included a complimentary afternoon tea, which was such a nice surprise. The outdoor pool and dedicated family-friendly activity space made it ideal for both relaxation and fun. My kids had a blast, and I felt completely recharged. This hotel truly delivers on every level—comfort, convenience, and service. I’d absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Xiamen!

During New Year's period, the hotel was lively with plenty of family-friendly activities that kept the kids entertained. The guest manager, Xiao Luo, went above and beyond—she reached out before check-in to confirm details and checked in regularly during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. On checkout day, she even arranged a late departure without hassle, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, leaving no corner untouched. Every team member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. From start to finish, the service felt personal and caring. It’s a perfect choice for families or anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run hotel. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others.

Seaview Resort Xiamen

Staying at Seaview Resort Xiamen was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The property boasts modern facilities, a serene environment, and a convenient location near the coast without being too far from city amenities. Breakfast was excellent—plentiful and tasty. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff, especially the personal care provided by the concierge. During New Year’s holiday, the hotel was nearly full with families traveling with kids, which made for some evening noise that even good soundproofing couldn’t fully block out—disrupted my sleep significantly. I also have a sensitive stomach, so lack of rest only worsened things, and I couldn’t handle heavy or greasy meals. That’s when the team stepped in with kindness: they proactively arranged a room transfer to the quieter Water Pavilion area, which made such a difference. To top it off, they brought me a warm bowl of soft, comforting congee with light side dishes right before bedtime. It wasn’t just food—it felt like care. I’ve never felt more looked after during a stay. This level of thoughtful service is rare, and it completely turned my experience around. I’ll definitely be returning.

Check-in was a bit stressful at first, but the on-duty manager handled everything with great empathy and professionalism. After a calm conversation, the issue was resolved smoothly—and they even surprised me with afternoon tea, evening entertainment, and a bottle of wine. The next day’s airport transfer was excellent too; driver Andy was friendly, courteous, and helped carry my luggage without being asked. We had a pleasant chat throughout the ride. A few suggestions for improvement: the afternoon tea selection was limited, and the fruit—especially the watermelon—wasn’t very fresh. Dinner options were also quite narrow. The room stayed chilly despite running the heater all night—temperature barely reached 15°C, so adding a heating option would be helpful. Also, breakfast was missing some items, and they weren’t replenished promptly. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The staff responded quickly to feedback, and the views from the room were stunning—especially sunrise in the morning. One small disappointment: no capsule or instant coffee available, which is common even in budget hotels. Adding that would make the stay much more convenient for guests who rely on coffee.

What truly stood out was the concert shuttle service; after the show, the driver even offered bottled water, and the vehicle had the artist’s songs playing in the background—a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience unforgettable. I was also impressed by the concierge team: one staff member kindly returned my charging power bank to the mall before I even checked in! Another team member, named Fugui Hua Kai, went above and beyond by personally arranging my transfers, hand-writing a sweet note, and leaving fresh fruit and dessert upon arrival. This level of care made my stay feel personal and special. If you're visiting Xiamen, this hotel should be at the top of your list—excellent service, stunning views, and an unforgettable experience.
