Kunming Xiangjiang Hotel
Staying at Kunming Xiangjiang Hotel was an absolutely outstanding experience—almost a perfect 10 out of 10. From the moment I stepped in, everything felt seamless and thoughtfully designed. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Kunming, making it easy to explore the city by metro or on foot. The lobby area is spacious and cozy, offering a relaxing welcome. With three separate elevators, there’s never a wait—such a small but smart touch. The room itself is fully smart-enabled, allowing me to control lighting, temperature, and other features via my phone—very convenient and modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with both soft and firm pillows available to suit different preferences. The bathroom stood out with its clean, spacious layout and full separation between wet and dry areas. The bath products smelled fresh and calming, helping me unwind after a long day. The fitness center is impressively large, with space for both cardio and yoga sessions, plus essentials like first-aid kits and towels—great attention to detail. There’s also a self-service laundry room with dryers, which is super handy for longer stays. Breakfast was a highlight—abundant, diverse, and included local specialties that added a nice cultural touch. The staff truly went above and beyond; especially the front desk manager, Xiao Jing, who showed incredible care and warmth. She even prepared a breakfast pack for me when I left early for the airport—such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, comfort, and service. If I’m ever back in Kunming with friends, this will be my top pick without hesitation.
