We were initially booked through our tour group, but after experiencing the excellent service and comfort at Chunchen Hotel, we decided to book additional nights directly. The staff, especially a young lady at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and attentive—she even proactively arranged a room facing the quiet courtyard, knowing we were concerned about sleep quality. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The hotel’s overall ambiance is calm and welcoming, located just steps away from Kunming Railway Station and Wanda Plaza, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast can get busy in the morning, so splitting the dining area into two smaller sections would help reduce crowding. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations—great value, top-notch service, and a peaceful stay. We’ll definitely be returning.

I've been in Yunnan for ten days and originally planned to book a Sheraton hotel, but it was too far from the city center. So I chose this Kunming Xueli Jinxi Hotel near Jinchang Temple Metro Station—and I couldn't be more delighted! The location is perfect: just 20 minutes by metro to the airport and another 20 minutes to the high-speed rail station. When we arrived at 10:30 PM, the front desk staff were incredibly professional—quick check-in, immediate luggage assistance, and even a little welcome gift. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and everything was brand new. The amenities, including the body lotion and shampoo, felt luxurious and high-quality. What stood out most was the daily complimentary soup—rich, nourishing, and delicious. We stayed two nights and loved every moment. After visiting Shangri-La, I actually plan to return to Kunming just to stay here again. The hotel also has a delivery robot—ordering food from outside was so convenient. Bayman Holiday Inn Guandu Square Kunming

Staying at this hotel for three days was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing worked really well—no noise from the hallway or outside. Breakfast was fantastic: a wide variety of options with great taste, including some local specialties that added a nice authentic touch. Location is unbeatable—right next to Guanshang Old Street, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring on foot. It’s also just a short walk to Kunming Railway Station and the International Exhibition Center, perfect for travelers on the go. We visited Stone Forest and Jiuxiang, both amazing spots worth the trip. The old street was bustling but lively, and taking my kids to the former site of Southwest Associated University and the Military Academy was truly educational and meaningful. This hotel offers excellent value and comfort—definitely my top pick for future visits to Kunming.

City Comfort Inn (CITY OF FLOWER KUNMING)

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff were quick, friendly, and even offered helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants—such a nice touch. The room was spotless, with soft bedding that made it easy to fall asleep the second my head hit the pillow. No travel fatigue at all—just pure comfort. Breakfast was fantastic: a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, but the standout was the freshly made Yunnan-style rice noodles. The aroma alone brought back memories every time I think about it. Even when checking out, the team asked how my stay was—small gestures, but they showed real care. I’ve already recommended this place to friends and will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Kunming.

This is hands down the most comfortable and enjoyable stay I've had at a guesthouse. March Inn in Kunming's Chuanjin Road offers three spacious rooms perfect for groups or families, all equipped with smart features that make everything feel modern and convenient. The central living area is truly impressive—complete with a large screen TV, cozy sofas, a dining table, and even a mahjong table. There’s also a washer, microwave, refrigerator, and plenty of room to relax or entertain guests. Best of all, parking is right outside the door, which makes arriving and leaving super easy whether you're driving or using public transit. Since it just opened this year, everything is brand new and immaculate. From the clean design to the thoughtful touches, this was one of my most satisfying stays ever. I’ll definitely be back.

The atmosphere here is absolutely exceptional—serene, peaceful, and truly feels like a hidden oasis in the middle of the city. From the moment you step into the garden, you're greeted with a calm, refreshing vibe perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was immaculately clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. It's conveniently located near the metro, making it easy to explore downtown or nearby attractions without hassle. This place offers incredible value for money and exceeded all our expectations. I can't recommend it highly enough—this will definitely be my top choice for future trips to Kunming.

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy little homestay! The room was spotless, warmly decorated, and felt really welcoming—like coming home. It’s located in a super convenient area, just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to explore all of Kunming without hassle. The price is incredibly fair for the quality and comfort you get. I especially appreciated how quickly the hot water heated up—perfect for a relaxing shower after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, this place offers excellent value and a true local vibe. I’d definitely book here again if I’m back in Kunming!

Expo Hotel

Staying at Expo Hotel in Kunming was such a delightful experience. The hotel is incredibly close to major attractions like the World Horticultural Exposition Garden, Jin Dian Temple, and the Wildlife Park—perfect for morning walks through the garden with fresh air and scenic views. The breakfast spread was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, and the staff went above and beyond with their service. From the moment we arrived, friendly staff helped carry our luggage up to the room and even welcomed us with a refreshing fruit platter—small touches that made a big difference. Special thanks to Xiao Rong, Xiao Dong, and Xiao Wei for their warm hospitality; they truly made us feel at home. I’ve already returned here multiple times, and last visit I saw the room renovations underway—modern, clean, and well-designed. Can’t wait to check back in once the upgrade is complete. This hotel consistently delivers comfort, convenience, and genuine care, making it my top choice in Kunming.
